Challenges is a unique part of the minr plugin and can be accessed via the /ch command. Challenges are map sets that when completed reward C-Points, or Challenge Points. Some challenges have a criteria to hinder your progress, such as no regeneration or no checkpoints.

Challenges Command

The Challenges command is broken up into different parts, each with their own function. The command has 5 different commands (which all do the same thing), which are /ch, /challenge, /challenges, /minrchallenge, /minrchallenges

/ch daily

This sub-command involves anything to do with the daily challenge, a challenge that regenerates its maps each day.

/ch daily info

This version sub-command shows what daily challenge number it is, the C-Point reward for today, and the maps contained in the challenge today. It also lists the maps in the order that the player runs through the challenge.

/ch daily join

This version sub-command enters the player into the daily challenge if they are not in one currently.

/ch hexa

This sub-command shows the farthest map you've reached in the hexa challenge. You can also do /ch hexa (PlayerName) to see the farthest hexa stage they've reached. If the player targeted by the command (including you) is currently in the hexa challenge, it will state what stage you're/they're at and how many lives remaining.

/ch info [ChallengeName]

This sub-command shows what reward, what maps, and what criteria are in the Challenge Name specified, e.g. /ch info beginner will show that it awards 10 C-Points and has Mineco, Kave Quest, Winter Tide, MineTech, and Dusty Dunes. The maps listed are in the order the player plays through them.

/ch join [ChallengeName]

This sub-command enters the player into the Challenge Name specified, e.g. /ch join hard will enter the player into the hard challenge.

/ch list

This sub-command lists all the current challenges and their rewards. It will highlight what challenges you have completed in gold while incomplete ones will be light gray. It can also target other players with /ch list (PlayerName) to see what challenges others have beaten.

/ch quit

This sub-command quits you out of the current challenge you're in, if any. This won't take you out of the map, just will make you exit the challenge.

/ch random

This sub-command enters you into a random challenge that currently exists.

List of Challenges

Currently 7 Challenges exist for Minr.

Beginner Parkour Pack

This challenge awards 10 C-Points upon completion. The maps progress Mineco -> Kave Quest -> Winter Tide -> MineTech -> Dusty Dunes. There are no special criteria for the Challenge. The Challenge Name shorthand is beginner.

Daily Challenge

This challenge regenerates maps every 24 hours. It awards 0-25 C-Points based on the point reward for the maps totaled together. 2-5 maps are chosen every day for this challenge. No special criteria exists for this challenge. The Challenge Name shorthand is daily###.

Hard Parkour Pack

This challenge awards 30 C-Points for completion. The map order is Chaos -> Prismarine Green -> World Two-Ur -> Aqueous -> Rock Sport. There are no special criteria for this challenge. The Challenge Name shorthand is hard.

Welcome To Hell

This challenge awards 999 C-Points for completion. Chronologically the maps go Planets -> Cake Quake -> Aqueous. This is a No Checkpoint challenge, meaning you cannot set your respawn point anywhere after the beginning of the challenge. The Challenge Name shorthand is hell.

Hexa Challenge

This challenge awards 666 C-Points for completion, and awards n C-Points for beating the nth stage for the 1st time in the challenge (e.g. 142 C-Points for beating stage 142). It systematically goes through every FFA and FFA+ map by sorting them by point reward (least to greatest), and then by Alphabetical order. This is a Life Challenge, meaning you must beat all the maps in a set number of lives; in this case it's 66 lives. The Challenge Name shorthand is hexa.

Intermediate Parkour Pack

This challenge rewards 20 C-Points when done. Map order is RUSH -> A Whittle Story -> Metal Harbor -> Construction -> Hel. There are no special criteria for this challenge. The Challenge Name shorthand is intermediate.

Old HC

This challenge gives 10 C-Points upon completion. The only map in the challenge is Old HC. The map has No Food, No Regeneration, No Checkpoints, and No Sprint criteria, which are self-explanatory. The Challenge Name shorthand is oldhc.

Trivia

  • For some odd reason, anything in the Challenge command that requires a challenge name is case-specific, so hexa works but Hexa doesn't.
  • /ch list indicates that it works somewhat similar to the /c FFA page system, yet it only has one page.
  • There are two different ways to join the daily challenge (/ch daily join & /ch join daily###) and see the maps in it (/ch daily info & /ch info daily###). This reasons the /ch daily sub-command to most likely be a workaround so player didn't have to remember the daily number.
  • Only one player has legitimately beaten the hell challenge: SleeknFoxy.
  • rebplane is the user with the furthest distance in the hexa challenge, with her last life death on stage 180. Consequently, she also has the most C-Points with 16,549 C-Points currently.
