Cosmetics

Cosmetics is an avenue of which players can display their accomplishments. The requirements for receiving these vary, ranging from completing difficult challenges to event rewards.

General

Cosmetics were added due to the general lack of rewards on the server, as a step towards giving players the incentive to take on harder challenges than they are previously acustomed to. It similarly attempts to tackle the issue of player retention past completing Hardcore.

Cosmetics Rarities

All permanent cosmetics are split into different rarities/tiers, determined by how common they are among players. These rarities do not directly relate to how many cosmetics are in each category, so a higher difficulty rarity might have more cosmetics in that tier than a lower level. There are five distinct rarities:

Cosmetics Types

The Cosmetics Interface Main Menu

Cosmetics are also split into many types, or styles, and each have their own display method. Only one of each cosmetic type can be active at the same time.

Cosmetics Interface

To access the cosmetics interface, the command /shop or /cosmetics will direct you to it. On success you will see the main menu, which branches into the many cosmetics styles available. Moving around the interface requires players to select items. Each cosmetic has its own item display.

Titles

Titles are one of the three permanent cosmetics types, and displays words above the players head in the sense of giving them a title.

Throwback Hunter	Uncommon	Complete the Throwback Finds event.
Adventurer	Heroic	Create one of the top 3 maps in Advcomp 2019.
Conteggder	Heroic	Place in the top 3 teams of the 2021 Tour d'Egg.
Elder Egg	Heroic	Find all of the open world eggs in Egghunt 2021.
Eggspert	Heroic	Find all of the eggs in the open world of the Egghunt 2.0.
Gamer	Heroic	Complete the Odyssey challenge.
Hardcore	Heroic	Beat all of the mimic challenges.
Hero	Heroic	Beat The Path of Heroes challenge.
Omniode	Heroic	Place top 3 in the Mazecomp 2021 event.
Speed Demon	Heroic	Place top 8 in a Minr Cup event.
Survivor	Heroic	Beat the Stranded challenge.
2018 Minr Cup Champion	Epic	Win Minr Cup 2018.
2020 Minr Cup Champion	Epic	Win Minr Cup 2020.
A-Maze-ing	Epic	Come first in Mazecomp 2018.
Deep Explorer	Epic	Be the first to solo 100% the Scavenger Event.
Escape Artist	Epic	Awarded to the winner of Cursed Sightseeing.
Hexalite	Epic	Beat the Legacy Hexa challenge.
Mastermind 2020	Epic	Win Puzzlecomp 2020.
Lovecraftian	Epic	Awarded to the winner of Minr Mapjam 1.
Proud	Epic	Awarded to those that placed top three in PrideJam 2023.
Sightseer	Epic	Win the Minr Sightseeing event.

Particle Trails

Particle Trails, normally shortened to Trails, are the second of three permanent types of Cosmetics. Trails display particles around the player, which in most cases means leaving a colored trail behind them.

Eggcracker	Heroic	Find 310 eggs in the 2019 Egg Hunt.
Eggtacular	Epic	100% the Egghunt 2021 open world.
Showdown Champion	Epic	Rewarded to the winners of the Minr Showdown Event.

Hats

Hats are the third of three permanent types of Cosmetics. They put a head or block on the player's head that can be removed.

Common Eggdog Hat	Common	Place 16th or lower in 2021's Speggrunning.
Compeggitor	Common	Compete in the Egghunt 2.0 Compeggtition.
Globetrotter	Common	Compete in the Minr Sightseeing 2021 Event.
Lesbian	Common	Participate in PrideJam 2023.
Non-Binary	Common	Participate in PrideJam 2023.
Pink Hair	Common	Purchaseable for 15,000 credits in the arcade.
Pride	Common	Participate in PrideJam 2023.
Sharpshooter I	Common	Earn a combined score of at least 250 in arcade target ranges.
Sharpshooter II	Common	Earn a combined score of at least 320 in arcade target ranges.
Showed Up	Common	Rewarded to anyone playing at least 1 session of Minr Showdown.
Tis but a Tulip	Common	Purchaseable for 10,000 credits in the arcade.
Tourist	Common	Compete in the Minr Sightseeing 2020 Event.
Trans	Common	Participate in PrideJam 2023.

Explorer	Uncommon	Find 50 or more Moneybags.
Glacial	Uncommon	Complete Layer 3 in Egghunt 2021.
Golden Egg	Uncommon	Find 50% of the open world eggs in Egghunt 2.0.
Gravity	Uncommon	Create a dropper level for the Gravity event.

On Fire	Uncommon	Purchaseable for 50,000 credits in the arcade.

Verdant	Uncommon	Complete Layer 1 in Egghunt 2021.
Watcher	Uncommon	Awarded for participating in Minr Mapjam 1.
Bullion Baron	Heroic	Purchaseable for 100,000 credits in the arcade.
Error	Heroic	Find at least 30 Cursed Sightseeing locations.
Green Star	Heroic	Score at least 15 points in the Purple Comet event.
Heroic Eggdog Hat	Heroic	Place from 2nd to 5th in 2021's Speggrunning.
Puzzle Cube	Heroic	Get top 3 in Puzzlecomp 2020.
Diamonds are Forever	Epic	Purchaseable for 150,000 credits in the arcade.
Epic Eggdog Hat	Epic	Place first in 2021's Speggrunning.
High Roller	Epic	Purchaseable for 250,000 credits in the arcade.

Prefixes

Prefixes are the only temporary type of cosmetics, but are by far the most frequently rewarded due to events such as Ninja Warrior. These give the player an indicator before their name in chat, and only come from Events. Unlike any other cosmetic type, these do not have tiers of difficulty.

Trivia

• Cosmetics began as only titles, underscoring why they are the most diverse of any cosmetic type.
• Only rebplane legitimately owns the legendary Hexa title.
• Most cosmetics come from exclusive events, and make up over two-thirds of the current cosmetics library.
• Despite being listed and implemented in-game, arcade/casino related cosmetics are impossible to obtain since they are not sold anywhere or given by scripts (14 hats in total).
• Egghunt event cosmetics make up more than a quarter of the server's cosmetics (20 of the 71 total).
