Main Challenge Types
Main Challenge Types are Map Elements that are solid enough to be an entire map.
Parkour
Parkour Type maps involve moving from A to B through physical obstacles, such as jumps and climbs. This map element is the most common type in the entirety of Minr. Falling sections are also included in this genre. Some Parkour Type maps are Kave Quest, MYTH, Janus, and Fusion Parkour.
Mazes
Maze Type maps involve navigating a branching set of paths, with the objective of finding the path to the exit. These can be two or three dimensional, have changing paths, and can compose of loops rather than dead ends. Some Maze Type maps are Snowstorm, The Nether Lab, Blitz, and Pearl.
Puzzles
Puzzle Type maps utilize thinking beyond just an answer and can involve logic, deduction, and abstract thinking to find a solution. They can be riddles, math problems, images, or clues. Puzzle Type maps include Sra, Serene, Paradox, and Tulip Among Grass.
Searches
Search Type maps involve finding a "key" to make progress in a map, whether it be to find a button that opens another, item for a door, etc. Search Type maps include Nightmare Button, Torsion, Solstice, and Mina's Tirith
Adventures
Adventure Type maps involve a combination of 3 or more Map Elements (Both Main and Sub-Types) and usually contain a story. These maps are typically longer and involve a personal connection rather than an environmental one. Some Adventure maps are Mint's Trials, Lapis Plaza, Detention 2, and Emerald of Time
Sub Challenge Types
Sub Challenge Types are Map Elements that contribute to a map, but alone cannot make a solid level.
Guess
Guess Sub-Type maps involve choosing an answer with no clues or insight. These are usually mixed with Parkours and Mazes, and are notorious for being time-wasting. Some Guess inclusive maps are Shri Tra Savern, Mob Parkour, Holes, and Lava Parkour.
Mobs
Mob Sub-Type maps involve battling creatures intent on killing the player. They can sometimes be avoided entirely, or require killing all mobs to progress. Some Mob inclusive maps are The Congo, Spooky Minr, The Asylum, and DOOM-ED.
Co-op
Cooperative Sub-Type maps involve working with other players to reach the end of the map. They can be separated into paths or be in the same area. Currently the only two Co-op inclusive maps are Jko-op and Brother's Therapy.
