General
Story
The player is Feros, the leader of a group of scientists researching ways to get enough energy to stop a disease known as the Cataclysm. Recently, the team has found a way to go to other dimensions to harness their energy. Initially thought to be simple, the group quickly stumbles upon anomalies forming in the different dimensions blocking them from getting the energy in each dimension.
Gameplay
The map tasks the player with solving color puzzles to progress through anomaly gates. As the player progresses, puzzles get more complicated, use a larger variety of colors, and begin to require some parkour to beat.
Aesthetics
The map takes place across several different dimensions, each with their own unique theme.
- The dimensional hub is made of mostly red nether bricks with other gray blocks used for detailing.
- Medeistone takes place in a cave with some housing areas and parts of a mineshaft.
- Aquastone is underwater and goes through a quartz temple with light gray highlights.
- Mortistone is desert themed and goes through a palace area made of mostly sandstone.
- Tempustone is in a large cyberpunk city with purple accent coloring.
- Flostone is a corrupted bee themed valley with smog in the center and ceiling.
- The final puzzle takes place in a stained glass area with lightning motifs.
Map Series
Worlds Collide is the fourth map in the Fire and Flowers series. It represented a major shift in the series by beginning the next major stage of the story after the first three maps, and the map has a custom puzzle focus compared to the prior redstone puzzles.
