Back to Bonneton is a mixed search with parkour and maze map by Mercata and Zatharel. It rewards 4 FFA Points upon completion, and cannot be joined directly, requiring the player to find the start in Another Castle.

General[edit]

Story[edit]

The player is a visitor in Bonneton. To get the view from the large Top Hat, they must find the 75 purple coins scattered throughout the kingdom.

Gameplay[edit]

After exiting The Odyssey, the player must find 75 purple coins throughout Bonneton. Similar to the base game, purple coins are hidden in groups to aid in finding them. Once the player gets all 75 coins, they can buy the frog juice potion and use it to jump to the big top hat (if the player fails this part, they can grab a new potion from the Bonneter).

Three blue shells are hidden throughout the map that need to be found as part of unlocking The Mystery of the Missing Mario.

Aesthetics[edit]

The map is a recreation of Cap Kingdom from Super Mario Odyssey. One of the more distinct builds is The Odyssey, which the player starts in. The landmasses have bone block walls and a ground of black concrete and black concrete powder. Many parts of the land near the edges are loosely flanked by iron bars, basalt, and polished basalt. The landscape is also dotted with several Bonneton hat houses, Toad houses, and a giant top hat where the end of the map is.

Map Series[edit]

Back to Bonneton is a part of the Another Castle hub. The maps in Another Castle are shown below, split by collectibles.

Another Castle Maps
Yoshi Eggs (unlocks The Egg of Glory, which further unlocks the Another Castle end sign)
World 1-1 Off-Key Enigma A Good Egg Drop of a Hat
Blue Shells (unlocks The Mystery of the Missing Mario)
Mount Beanpole Ricco Harbor Back to Bonneton Super Minr Kart
Shy Guys (no current unlock)
Booster's Tower Bowser's Airship Rainbow Road Grim Boo's Trial
Grim Boo Woke Up and Chose Violence

Challenges[edit]

Since Back to Bonneton is not directly joinable, it is also not in any challenges.

Trivia[edit]

  • The purple coins used throughout the map are the same ones used in Purple Comet.
  • The map features three collectable blue shells related to its parent map, Another Castle.
  • The boost pad with trapdoors used in the map is the same as those used in Ricco Harbor.
