Cataclysm is a mixed parkour map with dropper elements by AverageIPA that rewards 25 FFA Points when completed. Use "/join ccl2" to join the map directly.
General[edit]
Gameplay[edit]
The map tasks the player with parkouring through several long rooms to rescue trekkers. Parkour includes standard, piston, neos, panes, ladders, trapdoor, and slime jumps. At checkpoint 8, the player needs to complete a dropper to proceed.
Aesthetics[edit]
The map takes place in library storage areas. At the beginning, it is mostly intact with stone brick walls and some lava flowing from the ceiling, but the rooms progressively deteriorate due to disasters like floating cubes, volcanic activity, and ice. The third major room has floating concrete prisms and a mix of black and magenta in the walls. The fifth major room is nether themed with large spindles of soulsand and nether brick structures for the jumps. The seventh room has a strong aquatic themed with prismarine frames and streams in the floor.
Map Series[edit]
Cataclysm is a loose sequel to Cave Collapse, reflected with the similar gameplay, similar aesthetic base, and mapcode.

This map is featured in 10 challenges: 2021 Assortment, Another Caving Nightmare, Collapsed Souls, Dropper Legends, Insane Parkour Pack 5, Library Apocalypse, The Badder Lands, Hexa #3 Practice Pack, Hexa Chapter III: New Heights, and Hexa.

- Cataclysm is one of AverageIPA's most famous maps, coming out before the creator went on to make several other black parkour maps like Ragnarok and Aqua City.
