General[edit]
Gameplay[edit]
Ophelia tasks the player with climbing up a network of paths to reach the end area. The ability to beat hard difficulty searches and parkours is required.
Aesthetics[edit]
The map is inspired by the painting Ophelia (1851-1852) by Sir John Everett Millais (which itself is based on the death of the character Ophelia from Hamlet).[1] It is built to resemble a swampy marsh with trees enclosing the player inside. While natural blocks and flowers are used most often throughout the map, other blocks like redstone lamps, gray glazed terracotta, and purpur are used for their color hues.
Challenges[edit]
This map is featured in 2 challenges: 2025 Assortment and Hexa.
Trivia[edit]
- The map mentions at the start that it was inspired by Troll Kingdom, a map which required the player to explore a cave to find the path needed for escape.
