Evergreen is a pure parkour map by chayos that rewards 25 FFA Points when completed. Use "/join eve" to join the map directly.

General

Gameplay

The map requires the player to climb to the top of the central tree. Parkour includes standard, timed, ladder, and cave vine jumps. The end section of the map is the most notorious part, with four difficult timed sections that need to be completed in a row.

There are two kinds of checkpoints in Evergreen. The first are regular checkpoint signs which function the same as usual. The second are mist checkpoints which teleport the player back to a set position if they fall into mist areas. Dying will take players to the last checkpoint sign, but mist checkpoints are more granular and require physically falling.

Aesthetics

The map takes place in a large valley with white stained glass mist at the bottom. In the center is a protruding island with a giant tree on it. Several leafy vines connect the central island to the outer edges, and there are green butterflies flying overhead. Several spikes jut out of the mist for the player to parkour across. The walls of the valley are made of stone.

Challenges

This map is featured in 7 challenges: 2022 Assortment, Parkour Besties Deluxe, Pure Pain Marathon, Pure Pain Marathon - Deluxe, Standing Tall, Hexa Chapter III: New Heights, and Hexa. Due to the map's use of mist checkpoints, soul-link challenges do not function as normal.

Trivia

• Evergreen has a secret search tasking the player with finding 25 spirit essence heads. Finding all 25 adds the player to a special area at the start of the map.
