Telepads is a mixed maze with guess map by Pottermon that rewards 18 FFA Points when completed. Use "/join tele" to join the map directly.

General

Gameplay

The map is a teleport maze where the player steps on pressure plates to teleport to different rooms. Some rooms, especially later on in the map, are dead ends which require restarting from the beginning of the map. The guess element of the map comes from being unable to know where a pressure plate takes the player until stepping on it, meaning finding the route through the maze is a trial and error process.

There are four levels in Telepads. There are no middle checkpoints or progress savers in the map, however, so dying or leaving the map for any reason will reset all progress.

Aesthetics

The main design of each room in the map is the same: there is glowstone in the ceiling to light up rooms, a main block for the floor and rest of the ceiling, quartz blocks used as a wall outline block for the topmost and bottommost block of each wall, and a main wall block.

  • For level 1, the starting room, and the end room, the floor is made of nether bricks, and the walls use black wool.
  • For level 2, the floor is made of emerald blocks, and the walls use gray wool.
  • For level 3, the floor is made of lapis blocks, and the walls use blue wool.
  • For level 4, the floor is made of redstone blocks, and the walls use black wool.

Challenges

This map is featured in 3 challenges: Very Hard Maze Pack, Hexa Chapter I: Legacy, and Hexa.

Trivia

  • Telepads was the first ever teleport maze on the server.
