Asylum is a mixed parkour map by Neo3dc. It rewards 0 FFA Points upon completion due to it being in the valley, and can be joined directly by green+ players using “/c join asy”.
General
Story
The player wakes up in an odd asylum and sets about trying to escape.
Gameplay
The map begins with a maze through many similar asylum cells. Since the maze is dark, there is risk of mobs spawning and attacking the player. After the maze, there is a timed parkour section across floating lily-pads. Finally, there is one final room of parkour consisting of various ladder jumps.
Aesthetics
Aesthetically, Asylum is very plain and uses a simple palette of blocks. The maze is built largely of white wool and features beds and redstone (signifying blood) in many rooms. After escaping the maze, the map uses a mixture of different stone brick varieties for the walls.
