General[edit]
Gameplay[edit]
The map involves navigating a connected series of tall rooms with hallways. The player parkours on floating platforms and in the walls with the goal of getting to the bottom of the column the maze begins at. To prevent players from dropping to the bottom, the map puts player at half a heart, meaning falling off too great a height will kill the player anywhere in the map.
Aesthetics[edit]
The map uses mostly nether-based blocks from the 1.16 update, with large use of nether bricks, crimson, and warped blocks. There are also purple accents with stained glass and panes in the map, and the walls have red stained glass panes in them.
Challenges[edit]
The map is featured in 5 challenges: 2022 Assortment, Hexa #3 Practice Pack, Hexa III: New Heights, Rivers Run Red 2, and Hexa.
Trivia[edit]
- Despite being similarly named to Liminal 1: Scorched and Scattered, the maps do not share a lore connection beyond their name. Both maps were meant to be parts of a larger project that never saw the light of day.
