Liminal 1: Scorched and Scattered is a mixed maze map by jasmine476. It rewards 7 FFA Points upon completion, and can be joined directly using "/join lim1".

General[edit]

Gameplay[edit]

The map involves navigating a network of ravines to find the end of the map. There are several bridges, some collapsed and some whole, that the player can walk on to get around as well. Paths exist in the map that require the player to crouch through a 1.5 tall hole to get to the other side. Entrances to two-sided paths like this have spectral arrows. Entrances to one-way paths have a red tipped arrow on the entry side and a barrier on the exit side.

Aesthetics[edit]

The map takes place in a desolate valley full of large fossils and skulls. The walls are made of different stones, and the ground is composed of several brown blocks like coarse dirt and acacia wood.

The map ends with a vault door leading into a peaceful valley. The area has a building with a cherry tree in it, and this place is also where the end sign is located.

This map is featured in 3 challenges: 2022 Assortment, Hexa III: New Heights, and Hexa.

Trivia[edit]

  • The map was initially incorrectly spelt on the Minr Map List. It was titled as "Shattered" instead of "Scattered", and immortalized itself as the map name for a long time before being corrected.
  • Despite being similarly named to Liminal 2: A Dangerous Descent, the maps do not share a lore connection beyond the name. Both maps were meant to be parts of a larger project that never saw the light of day.
