Barn Mania is a pure parkour map by Spontida10. It rewarded 7 FFA Points upon completion, and could be joined directly using “/c join bar”. The map was pulled from FFA for a rework in 2020.

General[edit]

Gameplay[edit]

Barn Mania begins in a small house outside the barn and players must run around the outside then enter in. Once inside, jump boost II is given to players and is used throughout the entire parkour. The parkour itself mostly uses floating blocks and ladders, and falling in most sections means restarting. The last section uses an unusual gimmick of ladder blocks floating on nothing, which makes for tight jumps with very narrow platforms to land on.

Aesthetics[edit]

The house players start in is mostly made out of terracotta, and the long path is simply polished andesite topped with oak leaves. The walls of the barn itself are made entirely out of red terracotta, and the roof has a curved shape made of quartz. Small stables topped with various colors of carpet line the walls of the barn along the floor. The floating blocks of the parkour itself are mostly hay bales.

Challenges[edit]

This map was featured in three challenges: 2013 Assortment, The Path of Heroes, and Hexa.

Trivia[edit]

  • Barn Mania is one of few parkour maps that contain jump boost parkour throughout the entire map, with some others being Space Jump and Monkey Trumpets.
  • The map contained two secret rooms: a redstone area underneath the starting house and a small room in a horse pen with unscripted story signs, which was possibly scrapped in development and never made inaccessible.
