Gravity is a community project led by Autre. It contains 10 different dropper levels which reward a total of 14 FFA Points. Each of the individual droppers inside Gravity have their own "/c join" command, including the Gravity hub.

General[edit]

The Gravity Hub build was constructed in the Theta End dimension. It includes three planets each serving a different purpose. The first planet that the player spawns on has the join signs for each of the 10 droppers. The green planet houses a credits build where players can view the Gravity contributors. The red planet houses a credits built where players can view and join the full maps created as part of the Gravity event. (Build in progress)

High Tech Dig is a pure dropper Gravity map by SomePunWithChloe. It rewards 1 FFA Points upon completion, and can be joined directly using “/c join htd”.

Gameplay[edit]

High Tech Dig plays like a standard dropper map. The player squeezes through tight gaps and the dropper itself is one of the smallest in terms of width. The player must land in a large water pool at the bottom in order to complete the dropper.

Aesthetics[edit]

High Tech Dig's start has an open top where the player can view the Gravity build area. In the dropper itself, obstacles are created using quartz variants, levers, trapdoors, redstone torches and soul lanterns. The walls were constructed with dark colors such as gray concrete powder and coal blocks. Sea lanterns are used as a main source of light.

Gameplay[edit]

This dropper begins in a large open area where the player will walk a short distance to the drop. The dropper consists of a very large open cavern with a few obstructions. The player is meant to land in the center in a small pool of water.

Aesthetics[edit]

Depths uses a very dark palette with blackstone, black conrete, obsidian, and coal blocks making up a large majority of the palette. Purple stained glass, and crying obsidian purple coloration contrasts the darker tones. A web of purple stained glass, floating soul sand blocks, and dark rods create the obstructions for the dropper.

Gameplay[edit]

The dropper begins surrounding a large hole that the player is able to drop down through. The player will avoid large vein structures then avoid smaller neurons to try and land in either of the two small water pools at the bottom.

Aesthetics[edit]

Cranium uses a palette of pink blocks throughout. Pink wool, pink stained glass, pink terracotta, and others make up the walls of the dropper. Red terracotta, pink terracotta, and magenta terracotta create veins. Glowstone with pink stained glass panes create neurons.

Gameplay[edit]

The dropper starts the player on a platform where they can choose to start falling from one of four different corners. The player will avoid hitting platforms stretching out from the walls as well as large worms sticking out from the walls. The player is attempting to land in a fountain at the bottom.

Aesthetics[edit]

Bookworm takes place in a library and thus uses bookshelves and oak wood variants to create most of its structure. Worms were constructed from lime wool and black block player heads. The bottom of the dropper has red carpet and a stone brick fountain to accent the area. Lanterns are used as a primary light source for the map.

The dropper begins with the player having to jump out of a boat and then swimming underneath to access the drop. The player will fall through a sea cave with coral and other obstructions blocking their path. The player attempts to land in small pools of water at the bottom.

Aesthetics[edit]

Challenger Deep begins in a boat made from different wood in a small pool of water. Large dirt walls with coarse dirt and stones surround the water. The drop is made to resemble a sea cave and has coral, dead coral, and other aquatic blocks. NPC's can be seen floating around the starting boat as well.

Gameplay[edit]

Invasion has the player avoid UFO's, tractor beams, and other space debris in order to land in a portal at the bottom. Upon landing in the portal, constructed from end portal blocks, the player will be teleported inside of the the saucers with the end sign.

Aesthetics[edit]

Invasion uses black blocks, such as black concrete, black concrete powder, and black wool, with glowstone to create the walls of the dropper, resembling space. The UFO's are constructed from lime glass and iron blocks.

Gameplay[edit]

The dropper begins in the large clown cave, as previous seen in Mercata's previously released map Nightmare Fuel. The player is told that they keep having dreams of this clown cave. After going through the clown's mouth, the player will jump down the dropper. The player will avoid hitting demonic platforms and floating bone blocks as they attempt to land in a fire pit with Herobrine facing towards them. Upon landing, the player is teleported to the Nightmare Fuel Trial Room, where the player is met with a brief ending before heading to the elevator shaft with the end sign.

Aesthetics[edit]

Night Terror's clown cave is constructed mostly from granite, with other brown-ish blocks mixed in. The clown head is constructed mostly from quartz and blackstone. The main dropper is constructed from a nether-like palette, with netherack and crimson wood being prevalent. The Nightmare Fuel facility is constructed with a red sandstone floor with various woods to accent the area. Blue concrete and white concrete also make up the walls. The elevator is constructed from iron blocks and smooth stone.

This dropper has the player drop from a small, long platform through various 1 block wide, long lines to get through the top of one of the cosmic generators. The player will aim for the top of the generators and land in a 1x1 pool of water.

Aesthetics[edit]

Cosmic Drop has a strange but appealing mix of aesthetics. Large generators are constructed from warped variants, blackstone, stone bricks, diamond, and sea lanters. The obstructing paths are created from white stained glass with torches along the sides.

Gameplay[edit]

The dropper begins with the player having to crawl underneath a tree to access the dropper. The player can then choose multiple different holes to drop down, each with its own advantages and disadvantages to completing the dropper. The player will eventually land through a 1x1 hole at the bottom.

Aesthetics[edit]

The Rabbit Hole is based on Alice in Wonderland, where Alice drops down the rabbit hole while following the white rabbit. The dropping area and the first part of the walls are made from brown textures. The later walls then changes to multiple different, vibrant colors. Many different structures are present throughout the dropper. These include, the white rabbit, a carrot, a potion, a king, and others.

Glimmer takes place in a vibrant, futuristic type setting. The walls are made to resemble buildings, constructed from terracotta or concrete with glowstone, sea lanterns, or shroomlight used as lighting. The bottom of the dropper is constructed to look like an average cityscape, with roads, a restaurant, and greenery surrounding the area.
