General
Story
The story of Trenches has the player searching for the Frontline for battle.
Gameplay
Trenches is a 2D maze. Trenches has several unique locations, such as a relay tower and infirmary, that will give hints to complete the maze.
Aesthetics
Trenches uses a sand and birch based palette for the high walls and ground of the trench. The map also has many war elements, such as fighter planes and bomb craters on the upper parts of the map as well as many soldier NPC's throughout the area. There are also iron bars resembling barbed wire and water pits with bridges over them
Challenges
This map is featured in three challenges: Beginner Maze Pack, Blue Oceans, and Hexa.
Trivia
- In the graveyard, there is a schnauzer dog on a gravestone. This is a reference to Autre's real life dog.
- Trenches is the lower blue maze border map.
