General Info about Speedrun Guides[edit]

These guides are meant only to help speed-runners who wish to compete against each other in certain maps. They do not contain maze/puzzle solutions.

The Iron Door Speedruns[edit]

General[edit]

Iron door speedruns are both massively luck-based and fast-paced, making it difficult to get a placing in the top 3. There are multiple tips, however, to get a faster time in the map.

Tip 1: Level Progression[edit]

One of the main drawbacks about speedrunning Iron Door is that levels 1-5 are controlled by random teleports, which means 2 people doing the map at the same time won't normally have the same levels. Listed here are the first 5 levels and what level types they have.

Level 1 - Amazing Insight - Bench Press A - Bench Press B - Rock Solid -

Level 2 - Bench Press A - Bench Press B - Flamingle - Roll With It - Su Door Ku -

Level 3 - Amazing Insight - Bench Press - Elementary -

Level 4 - Bench Press - Rock Solid - Roll With It -

Level 5 - Amazing Insight - Elementary - Flamingle

Amazing Insight, Su Door Ku, and Flamingle Level 5 are automatic run-killers, as any encounter with these levels takes far more time than the others to speedrun. /kill whenever you see these. Any order of the rest will get you under 2 minutes if fast enough, although getting the fastest progression through Iron Door requires fast clicking. The fastest route (with fast clicks/perfect execution) is Bench Press -> Roll With It -> Elementary -> Rock Solid -> Elementary. Bench Press is good to settle on if fast-clicking is difficult for levels 2-4, though Level 5 is a must with the puzzle Elementary.

Tip 2: Faster Cart-ing[edit]

Level 6 is the unavoidable Cartesian Coordination, which requires you to use a minecart to speed through the level. Once you get the minecart, ride it lower on the sloped rails and hop in it to get a slight head-start. Holding forward in the direction you want to go makes it faster as well. Whenever you reach an intersection, press the correct button before you reach the powered rails to go faster down the track.
