Slyplaza

The Slymark building.

Slyplaza was an ambitious city area created and scripted by D4rkSly that was meant to provide Greens with options that weren't offered anywhere else on the server. It featured five completed buildings offering their own unique services before the area was discontinued sometime in 2021.

Buildings

There are five completed buildings in Slyplaza, each with their own function.

D4rkSly Industries

Inside this skyscraper are two assistants and a showcase of different armorstand animations that D4rkSly scripted and used throughout the rest of Slyplaza. Each of the elevator floors showcases a different armorstand animation, such as walking. At the top of the building is a garden area.

Spotisly Shop

This music store allowed players to hear the sound of different types of noteblock rings in Minecraft. It also allowed players to construct their own songs that could be played back.

Slymark

This mall building gave players the option to sort through 200 different colors of armor pieces to choose their own leather armor colors instead of needing to rely on external tools to generate them.

Minr Post

This post office building allowed players to essentially blog about map developments and more. It allowed players to choose their own office spaces and get individual "subscriptions" to different types of blog content that other players made.

Slym Gym

This gym building let players practice jumps that appear in Hard and above difficulty maps. This area even included sections for jumps that would never be accepted into FFA, inventing its own difficulty ratings of Insane (Brown) and Extreme (Magenta) for these jumps. This area has boards explaining acronyms and jump techniques and a simple level creator with its own mini verification system.

Quests

Around when the Minr Post building was added, quest NPCs were added to Slyplaza that gave rewards such as hats and access to different Slyplaza features.

Location History

April 10, 2021, D4rkSly opened the Slyplaza and featured the D4rkSly Industries building which housed armorstand animations. Over the next two months, several more buildings were created and announced for Greens to use. The last major building to be announced was the Minr Post, though the Slym Gym was mostly built by the time D4rkSly discontinued building in the areas.

Trivia

• Slyplaza contained the first fully fledged area to act as a parkour training area for players before Training, though it was not accessible to all ranks.
