Pistomatic is a pure maze map by eagg2112 that rewards 7 FFA Points when completed. Use "/join pis" to join the map directly.
General
Gameplay
Pistomatic tasks the player with navigating a maze of one-way paths in a grid to reach the end. One-way gates are made out of pistons with pressure plates and stone slabs that force the player to crouch through.
Aesthetics
Each of the cells in the maze uses stone walls, a glowstone middle, and smooth stone slabs on top of glass in the ceiling.
Map Series
This map used to be the first of two Pistomatic series maps in FFA. The sequel, Pistomatic 2, has mostly been lost to time.
Challenges
This map is featured in 4 challenges: 2013 Assortment, The Amazeingly Painful Marathon, Hexa Chapter I: Legacy, and Hexa.
Trivia
- Due to it being possible to take several one-ways the wrong way in the past, the map was retrofitted with doors that require sneaking to use.
