General
Story
The story of Blossom has the galactic representative, Lazuli, employing the player to find eight of the unique animals in the area. The player, called traveler by the citizens, can interact with NPC's to view dialogue that will reveal lore about Bria.
Gameplay
Blossom tasks the player with finding eight animals in the an open area. Each of the eight animals, represented by custom player heads, are each uniquely different. There are also regular looking animals meant to trick the player, making it more difficult to find the unique animal. Each animal is located in one general area in the map, making it easier to search for specific animals. Books on fenceposts can be used to check search progress. Once the player finds all eight, the player goes to the meeting cave beneath the Soul Tree, accessible by the staircase inside the tree.
Aesthetics
Blossom takes place on the planet Bria, an enchanting, fairy-like land. The houses are designed to look like mushrooms. Natural foliage, like bushes and trees, also dot the landscape. Four custom caves can be found around the area. One is made with honey, one with slime, one with dirt, and one with sea-like decorations. Custom player heads surround the area, representing berries and the animals. Mycelium and grass blocks make up most of the ground blocks. Prismarine, cobblestone, stone, andesite, and dead fire coral blocks make up the general wall and cave aesthetics. Alliums, pink tulips, and blue orchids make up the flowers used throughout the map.
