General

Story

In Tropical Excursion, the player books a getaway to a group of tropical islands.

Gameplay

The player starts out in a small town and explores until they walk into the travel agent store. From there, they book their vacation and hop into a car. The player later wakes up to find themselves in a lush and tropical environment with a trident in their hand. The player then must traverse from island to island by completing parkour on the islands to get to the top of the palm trees, and then using the trident they were given to launch themselves to another island. At the end of the map, the player must launch themself into a helicopter and head back home.

Aesthetics

The aesthetics of tropical excursions are mainly composed of many lush islands, each with its own unique theme and atmosphere, and palm trees. The map also features many vehicles and animals in the water such as boats, whales, and sharks. The map decorations also rely heavily on armor stand creations. Some of the armor stand creations you will see throughout the map are birds, a volleyball net, instruments, a picnic basket, and more!

Challenges

This map is featured in 3 challenges: 2022 Assortment, Family Vacation, and Pure Pain Marathon - Deluxe.

Trivia

  • The volleyball net in the map is an assembly of 43 separate armor stands.
  • A dinosaur player head can be found in one of the buildings, as a nod to the map code and an easter egg found in all of andrewforreal's maps
