The Facility is a mixed parkour map by Viceinc, kor0sense1, and Vermilion_Stone. It rewards 12 FFA Points upon completion, and can be joined directly using “/c join tfy”.
General
Gameplay
Taking place mostly in "The Facility", this map is based on the two concepts of maze and one-jump, one-jump meaning that there is only one difficult jump for each fail-safed room. However, the path (from room to room) to the end is unclear, so the player must both complete jumps and navigate the maze. Some of the jumps include effects such as speed, slowness, slow falling, and jump boost.
Aesthetics
The map makes use of a lot of quartz, especially in the walls, though several other white blocks can be seen in some rooms. The color pallete otherwise largely varies in each room, each one having a certain theme, scene, or depiction of a room.
Challenges
This map is featured in three challenges: 2022 Assortment, They're Watching, and Hexa Chapter 3: New Heights.
Trivia
- This map was a part of the Minr MapJam 2022, earning 6th place.
- Although he contributed during the competition, zhar was not listed as a creator in the map.
