General[edit]
Story[edit]
The story of Trident has the galactic representative, Kerzark, employ the player to help forge Triton's national weapon, the Trident. The player, called traveler by the citizens, can interact with NPC's to view dialogue that will reveal lore about Triton.
Gameplay[edit]
Trident tasks the player with collecting a Prismarine Crystal, Prismarine Shard, and Heart of the Sea and return with them to Kerzark in order to forge the Trident. The player must solve puzzles and search for items by maneuvering their way through the sea tunnel maze. Once the players returns with the three items, they will be transported to a forge where they must power the Trident.
Aesthetics[edit]
Trident uses a combination of stone, prismarine, and warped variants to create the aesthetics. The sea tunnels use dark prismarine and warped planks to create the paths for the tunnels. Sea lanterns are used as a primary means of lighting the tunnels. Small structures for the citizens to live in were constructed using warped wart blocks and warped wood to create market stands and houses.
Challenges[edit]
This map is featured in 3 challenges: A Quick Detour, Hold Your Breath, and Hexa Chapter II: The Renaissance.
