Tales of Shihon is a mixed Adventure map by Tronten, JakobTheKidd, TheGloryThief, and natcrackers. It rewards 18 FFA Points upon completion and can be joined directly by typing "/join tos" in the server.
The map features an interactive tutorial at the start and requires the use of a resource pack that contains voice-over narration, music, and paintings. This map has an optional hidden search where players have to find all 18 secrets to get a unique cherry blossom cosmetic trail.
This map was awarded Map of the Year 2024.

Story

But in the city looms an evil cult who has already infiltrated the high ranks, roaming the streets of Shihon to stop the hero from defeating the dragon and guaranteeing the destruction of the world. Aesthetics
The map is set in a fictional country called Ryujin. The map contains a bamboo forest and the city of Shihon heavily inspired by Japanese architecture, featuring imperial structures and traditional homes. The city features a big Cherry Blossom tree in the middle, the marketplace, the Castle, guard towers, and the slums.
Challenges
This map is featured in four challenges: 2024 Assortment, Glorious Expedition, Hexa Challenge, and its own one-life challenge: Silent City.
Trivia
- This map was originally built by JakobTheKidd and Tronten but has been stuck in the archives until it was posted for Project Pickup, which was then claimed by TheGloryThief and natcrackers.
- The map is jampacked with references ranging from Pokemon to the Beatles.
- The secret search was developed to encourage players to explore the map outside the required gameplay and has its own side story tied with the main one.
- The map is one of the only two maps that have voiceover narration, the other being hide by _Amphi.
