Hard Hat is a pure parkour map by egabbac and jake_osml. It rewards 12 FFA Points upon completion and can be joined directly using "/join haha".

General[edit]

Gameplay[edit]

The goal is to reach the end of the course by completing jumps only possible through placing suspicious sand underneath yourself. The player must be swift and accurate as their blocks fall from underneath them. Sections gradually increase in difficulty, expanding on the mechanic with each new jump.

Aesthetic[edit]

Make your way through a sandy construction site! There are five sections each with their own biome: forest, taiga, birch forest, desert, and mesa. Target blocks indicate where sand could be placed.

Challenges[edit]

Hard Hat is featured in one challenge: 2023 Assortment.

Trivia[edit]

  • There are several Easter eggs hidden throughout the map. Notably, each creator has their own Easter egg.
  • Each jump features a non-full block underneath wherever sand is placed. Usually, these blocks are lanterns. They were originally placed to destroy the falling sand and prevent build-up at the bottom of the jumps. However, it was later discovered that suspicious sand breaks no matter what is underneath it if it falls from any distance. The creators decided to keep the lanterns there anyways.
