Cubica is a mixed parkour map with maze and search by andrewforreal. It rewards 12 points upon completion, and can be joined directly using “/join cbc”.

General[edit]

Gameplay[edit]

The map is split up into four sections. The first two sections consist of parkouring around a connected valley. The third section is a cave maze with parkour. The fourth section contains ruins in a small valley where the player must find and parkour their way around the ruins to reach the ending area.

Aesthetics[edit]

Everything built in Cubica is shaped like a cube or rectangular prism. The canyon in the first section of the map mostly features a mix of light gray blocks. Lush trees made of mangrove wood and azalea leaves fill the area as well. Blue, light blue, and cyan glass are used in the river to form rectangular shapes. The second section is much like the first, except corrupted and dead. The canyon consists of a mix of dark gray blocks and the area is filled with leafless trees. The remnants of an old mining site are also visible, including a bridge. The third section with the cave has several different block pallets used throughout. The main pallet used is a mix of dark gray and black blocks. Some of the other blocks introduced are calcite, magma, various coral, and lichen. The skeletons of unfortunate miners are also dotted around. The canyon in the fourth section is mostly a mix of light gray blocks and calcite. The area also contains bulbous cherry trees, consisting of cherry leaves, flowering azalea leaves, pink glazed terracotta, dark oak wood, and spruce wood. In the main area, several small ruined columns made of deepslate surround a taller column made mostly of diorite. The ending area is placed in the voids of the nether and features the credits. Surrounding are floating cubic structures and rectangular prisms of several shapes and sizes made of the same blocks used in the canyon and cave areas of the map.

Challenges[edit]

This map is featured in one challenge: 2023 Assortment.

Trivia[edit]
