General[edit]
Gameplay[edit]
Anubis is a fairly linear maze consisting of several distinct sections, split between the main, above-ground maze, and several smaller underground mazes. After completing these mazes, the player is required to solve a moderately difficult puzzle in a large, open room. Failing this puzzle will kill the player, sending them back to the beginning of the map.
Aesthetics[edit]
Anubis takes advantage of rustic blocks, mostly relying on sand, red sand, and their variants. The map also uses dim lighting in most of the mazes to give a foreboding atmosphere.
Challenges[edit]
This map is featured in three challenges: 2019 Assortment, Hexa Chapter II: The Renaissance, and Odyssey.
Trivia[edit]
- Anubis is a figure in Egyptian mythology, in which he is the god of death.
- Anubis has a sequel: Duat.
