A Swift Adventure is an adventure map with parkour, maze, puzzle, and search by swifph. It rewards 18 FFA Points and can be joined directly using “/join 13”.
General[edit]
Story[edit]
The player is Taylor Swift. She has flown to Music Industry Island to get back nine of her albums from a man named Bicycle.
Gameplay[edit]
The map begins with a puzzle showcasing how other puzzles in the map will work. The player then enters an open world area where they can tackle the nine trials for the albums in any order. The gameplay of the albums varies massively: some albums, like folklore and Red, require solving puzzles similar to the intro, while others require parkour, solving a maze, or doing a search.
The rainbow tree near the entrance to the open world tells the player which albums they have remaining. Albums are also denoted by a music note head at the start of their sections (which itself has links to the music).
Aesthetics[edit]
The core island has mountains around most of it's edge to keep the player from escaping. Each of the nine main trials is built based on one of the songs in the album the player finds when completing the trial (e.g. 1989 has a woods maze inspired by the song Out Of The Woods in it). The most drastic change the map makes with this is Speak Now, where a past area of the church exists covered in snow.
The map uses a custom resource pack. It is mainly used for the album covers the player collects.
Challenges[edit]
The map is featured in four challenges: Rivers Run Red 2, Glorious Expedition, Hexa Chapter 3: New Heights, and Hexa.
Trivia[edit]
- One of the custom map arts, featured at the end of the map, is of the creator's dog Koda.
- One of the subway posters is from the map Nightmare Fuel.
- The name Bicycle, the map's main antagonist, comes from Scooter Braun. He was involved in a public dispute over ownership of Taylor Swift's first few albums.
- This map is the first to use an automatic resource pack.
