Kino Love is a mixed maze with search by The Midnight Society (TunaSurprise, Anrein, Buckley06, FrananaSplits, Mercata, Scylite, Zatharel, and wavelyte). It rewards 2 FFA Points upon completion, and cannot be joined directly since it is hidden in The Cliffs of Insanity.
General[edit]
Story[edit]
The player is late for their date with their significant other. They must figure out a way to get to the front of the line for the Tunnel of Love.
Gameplay[edit]
The map has three parts: a search, a maze, and a ride. The player first must figure out how to progress by talking to nearby NPCs. Next, the player must beat a timed maze to progress to the next section. Finally, the player needs to survive the Tunnel of Love to reach the map's end.
Aesthetics[edit]
The starting area has a candyland aesthetic with candy canes, candles, cupids, and lollipops dotting the landscape. On one side of the area, past the line, is a giant chocolate mountain that houses the Tunnel of Love. The maze section has a cake design and has the occasional cake gremlin throughout. The Tunnel of Love is a water minecart ride that takes the player through a plethora of romantic scenes, ending with a drop to the end of the map.
Challenges[edit]
The map cannot be featured in any challenges, as it is not directly joinable.
Trivia[edit]
- After the success of Kino Horror, The Midnight Society group set its sights on making a map similar to it for Valentine's Day. However, build progress stalled for many sections, and the only movie shaping up to be fully completed by the deadline was The Princess Bride. The group decided to convert the completed map, The Cliffs of Insanity, into the main map and have a smaller hidden map inside of it. The hidden map became Kino Love.
- Due to issues with coming short of the project goal, Kino Love became The Midnight Society's last map, and the group disbanded.
