Story[edit]
The player, an elf, must get shimmer crystals back to Santa's sleigh to power it.
Gameplay[edit]
Expedition Elf begins with a parkour section out of a cave. The player then needs to navigate a maze to reach a house where a logic puzzle is located. After beating the puzzle, the player receives a checkpoint and must parkour up to Santa HQ at the top of a mountain. Finally, the player needs to solve a few puzzles to complete the map.
Aesthetics[edit]
The map is built in a large area split into three: the maze, the snowy plain, and the mountain. The maze has podzol paths with tree-like walls that have ornaments in them. The snowy plain is a mostly barren area except for the skating rink and ice spikes which the player jumps on. The mountain is a tall mountain with several smaller peaks around one large peak. There is a ring of trees that circles the map, with the kind of tree changing depending on which third of the map it is in.
