Treedom is a mixed parkour map by oceanpeace15. It rewards 4 FFA points upon completion, and can be joined directly using “/c join tdm”.

General

Gameplay

Treedom consists of an enormous tree that players might find their way to the top of. However, the paths aren't linear, so guess is involved as players try to ascend the tree. As stated at the start of the map, the tree has multiple entrances, only a couple of which are correct. Inside the trunk is fairly maze-like, and the branches involve parkour. Near the top of the tree is a large balcony, meant as a failsafe for the parkour above it.

Aesthetics

The entire tree is made of oak logs and birch leaves (except for a small section at the very top with oak leaves), with water pouring down from several places. The balcony is mostly oak planks with a little bit of birch planks along the railing, and a regular-sized oak tree in the middle of it. Oak fences topped with oak planks surround the entire map, with the word "OCEAN" in lava blocks looming high in the sky, a reference to the creator.

Challenges

This map is featured in three challenges: 2012 Assortment, The Path of Heroes, and Hexa.

Trivia

  • The beacons along the ground were not there when the map was first published; those came later, as a source of light.
