General

Story

The evil queen has ordered the player to be executed. The player must traverse through the town in order to locate the queen and eliminate her, while not getting killed in the process.

Gameplay

This map begins with a short search section in which the player must locate the path forward a few times, with some short parkour sections in between. Once the player reaches the first checkpoint, the map begins to become more parkour-oriented, with a few searches and small mazes to break up the sections.

Aesthetics

The basic aesthetic of this map is wood and stone, similar to many of the maps made around 2015. A few sections, such as the ice cave, ice different palettes, but most of the map retains the wood/stone look. The city this map takes place in is walled-in, so seeing outside the walls in impossible.

Challenges

This map is featured in four challenges: 2015 Assortment, Long Live The Queen, The Path of Heroes, and Hexa.

Trivia

  • This map has a sequel in Queen's Nest 2, which was made three years after the original.
