The whole idea of Departure is to find a way to kill yourself without using the conventional method /kill. Throughout the map, the player will be put in 16 different unique situations, with the task of killing themself in every room. Departure is a mixed puzzle map by Zatharel. It rewards 4 FFA Points upon completion, and can be joined directly using "/c join dep".

General

Gameplay

The whole idea of Departure is to find a way to kill yourself without using the conventional method /kill. Throughout the map, the player will be put in 16 different unique situations, with the task of killing themself in every room. Departure is a good starter map for puzzles as it is a very simple concept, and easy to understand.

Aesthetics

Each room in Departure is completely different aesthetic wise, with the first puzzle room being a mix of snow and ice, another room is set in a nether biome with a mix of netherrack and soulsand, with fire and lava placed around the room. Challenges

Eternity is featured in four challenges: 2016 Assortment, Easy Puzzle Pack, TULIP, and Hexa.

  • Departure is based upon the flash game karoshi suicide
  • The idea was pitched by MeisterXehanort on a forum thread, Zatharel just decided to build it one day
  • Formerly had the level Roman XL (a simple puzzle)
