General Information

Delta is the new survival world on Minr since 1.13. It was conceived because 1.13 greatly changed oceans and some core gameplay features. Zero would no longer suffice due to the limitation in freedom of exploration.

When 1.16 was released, the Delta world was reset for the first time to allow players to explore the new nether biomes. It has since been reset for 1.17, and will be reset soon after the server is transitioned to 1.19.

Trivia

  • Each reset of Delta, despite what one might think, translates to creating a new set of three dimensions (overworld, nether, and end). These dimensions are named DeltaX, DeltaX_nether, and DeltaX_the_end, where X represents a number. For example, the 1.16 Delta overworld is named Delta2, and the 1.17 Delta overworld is named Delta3.
    • Because a reset creates new worlds instead of wiping the current ones, the older Delta dimensions can sometimes still exist if they have not been removed. The only way to access these past dimensions, however, is through either teleportation or using old homes.
