Players begin the map ascending a very long staircase, and are then given a long test of endurance with simple jumps up to 2 shrines placed very high up. They must parkour up a long, upward spiral of redstone lamps, with failure near the end resulting in certain death.

The staircase is made out of nether brick fences and stairs. The main area has a textured pattern of nether brick stairs in the wall, placed sideways so they create frequent 0.5x0.5 block holes. The floor is made of black wool, with an ornate pattern of nether brick stairs and redstone lamps in the center, which can be seen much better as the player ascends higher and higher.

*This is one of several maps located in what's known as "Kaddekes' Playground", where most of Kaddekes maps are located. [[Wolly Mammoth]] and [[Sssnake]] are visible at the beginning of Bugs, and other maps in the area include [[Chaos]], [[Demon]], and [[Satyrs]].

*With the change to crouching in a Minecraft update, it was at one point possible to escape the map through the corners in the staircase. This escape has since been patched.
