Rainbow Madhouse (Original) is a mixed maze map with search elements by eagg2112 that rewarded 7 FFA Points when completed in FFA. It is only accessible in Hardcore or Mimic.
General
Gameplay
The map tasks the player with finding the exit.
Aesthetics
The map takes place in a large mansion with a major rainbow theme for each of the different rooms. Different rooms in the building have different colors that generally group together.
Hardcore
For Hardcore 12.0, a maze was needed for the introduction section to replace Calamity from 11.0. The at the time defunct Rainbow Madhouse was chosen and repurposed for that Hardcore version. However, due to the creator submitting an updated version of the map to Board close to the Hardcore iteration's release, "(Original)" was added to the name of the old version.
Trivia
- Because the current Rainbow Madhouse is not in FFA, a Mimic-style copy of the map needed to be created for Hardcore. Since a Mimic version was then needed on top of this, Mimic: Rainbow Madhouse exists as a mimic of a mimic of a map version that no longer exists.
