The pyramid is a pure maze by Bilou1688 and Thogin. It rewards 4 FFA Points upon completion, and can be joined directly using “/c join pyr”.

General[edit]

Story[edit]

You wake up alone in a mysterious pyramid and you have only one thought in mind: leaving this place! But it might not be that easy, as the corridors of the pyramid are designed to make intruders forget their path...

Gameplay[edit]

The player must navigates 3 separate mazes to escape the pyramid. These mazes increase in difficulty as the player progresses.

Aesthetics[edit]

The player starts in the middle of what seems like a pyramid's chamber and is stuck in a maze made out of yellow blocks. Soul torches are used to illuminate these halls. The second section has a much darker theme, with a red sand ground and large walls made out of various dead coral blocks. The third and final section has a pretty classic stone palette, textured with stairs. There are occasional blotches of redstone dust being used to replicate the appearance of blood on the floor.

Trivia[edit]

  • This is Bilou1688's first map. It was originally supposed to be part of a much longer adventure map, but Bilou instead opted for a less ambitious project with Thogin.
  • The second floor of the map was accidentally completely flooded, when Thogin put Dead_Coral instead of Dead_Coral_Block in the replace script. This accidental flood was ZombieKiler's first world edit as an op (Sorry about that Zombie).
  • This map contains 2 tulips, as a reference to Zatharel's famous Tulip easter egg.
