Ascension by Corruption was a hidden mixed parkour map with search elements by facecat1. It was never released to FFA.
General[edit]
Gameplay[edit]
The map required finding a secret entrance leading to the start of the Ascension by Corruption area. The player then needed to parkour up a short tower, with a checkpoint in the middle, to reach the end.
Aesthetics[edit]
The secret map area contained mostly blackstone, obsidian, crying obsidian, chiseled polished blackstone, and blackstone bricks in its palette. The center contained a pseudo lava pit made of orange stained glass that killed the player when stepped on.
Parent Map[edit]
Ascension by Corruption was initially a secret map for Azure Cove when it was submitted to Board. It was removed during the Board process, and the map is no longer accessible.
Trivia[edit]
- The secret area concept used by Ascension by Corruption might have inspired one of the creator's later maps, Iris.
