Transmute requires the player to step on a gold block to advance to the next puzzle. There are walls made of concrete with transmute signs which convert blocks in the concrete color region on the floor to a different block. There are 25 puzzles, with the last puzzle split into four different smaller ones as well.<br />

The map has rooms built out of monocolor themes. Each wall has concrete of a color surrounding stained glass with several different blocks of similar hue behind it. The color of these rooms follows the [[difficulty]] spectrum from white to black.<br />
