The Trials is an adventure map by ScantHickory997. It rewards 1 [[Points|FFA Point]] upon completion, and can be joined directly using “/c join ttri”.

== General ==
=== Story ===
The player awakens in a laboratory with no memory of how they got there. The scientists ask the player to complete a set of trials in order to test their adaptability as well as their skills in certain areas, to determine whether they are worthy enough to be sent to Mars as part of the new colony.

=== Gameplay ===
There are three trials. The first is parkour, containing relatively simple jumps and a few slime jumps. The second is a maze, a grid of 3x3 squares, although the maze is relatively simple. The last trial is a puzzle, which only contains one puzzle in which the player needs to figure out the combination to open the lock.

=== Aesthetics ===
Set in a laboratory, with a limited palette. All the walls are white concrete, with limited other colours, and paintings and fake scenery in the hallways. There are also cameras and scientists watching the player most of the time throughout the map, which is visible to the player.

*This map was made as part of [[Events#Minr_MapJam_2022|Minr MapJam 2022]] over a period of 2 days. The map, unfortunately, placed 14th place out of the 14 maps participating.
