These guides are meant only to help speed-runners who wish to compete against each other in certain maps. They do not contain maze/puzzle solutions. <br />

== The Iron Door Speedruns ==

Candyland speedruns are almost purely about parkour swiftness and shortcuts. Some of the largest shortcuts also take quite a bit of time to pull off.
=== Minor Shortcut 1: Tree time save ===
In the tree at the start of the map, you can skip the ceiling jumps by jumping from the top of the ceiling jump to the log at the end of the ceilings.
=== Main Shortcut 1: Skip the Candy Canes ۞۞۞۞ ===
Right after beating the tree, there is a brown wool block to jump to. After that, you'd normally jump down, but from this block you can pull off a ''pixel perfect'' and ''momentum perfect'' jump to a purple cane. You have to use forced momentum on the brown wool block in order to pull it off by jumping diagonally. You then can jump from there to a low ladder on the tallest purple cane.
=== Main Shortcut 3: Skip the Wooden Arrow ۞۞ ===
At the top of the tallest purple cane, you can momentum jump onto barriers towards the purple arrow. It is a ''momentum jump'', being 5 blocks wide and 1 block down. A good indicator of where the end of the barriers are (so you don't miss it completely) is a block behind where the farthest left item frame is.
=== Minor Shortcut 3: Faster chocolate fountains ===
At the top of the tree-house, you can either choose to momentum jump to the left chocolate fountain or jump from the right chocolate fountain to lower blocks to have a time save. Doing the right chocolate fountain time save is faster and easier, though.

These shortcuts aren't used because there are either clearly better shortcuts, are not on the fastest route, or are eclipsed by a larger shortcut.

On the first candy cane is a ladder, and from it you can jump to the ladder at the top of the final candy cane.
=== Major Shortcut 2: Skip some Purple Canes + the Wooden Arrow ۞ ===
At the top of the first purple cane, you can jump around the glass onto barriers behind it. It's somewhat difficult to see where the barriers are, but the jump is relatively easy to do. The orange space on the floor is a good indicator of where the end of the barrier line is.
