Pasta tasks the player with navigating a 2D maze to reach the end.

The map is heavily pasta themed with brown, red, orange, and yellow blocks used in the palette. Most of the maze has floors made of yellow terracotta, stripped spruce wood, red carpets, and red wool, walls made of stripped birch wood and red sandstone walls, and ceilings made of glowstone behind yellow stained glass and yellow wool. In several places throughout the maze, pasta bowl player heads are used next to a birch sign with a pasta-related joke.
