Years ago, the Evil Dragon took dominion over the kingdom in a brutal war. You seek the Dragon Soul, located within the Maelstrom, to gain the power to defeat the Evil Dragon and liberate it from his tyranny.<br /> <br /> === Gameplay ===<br /> Dragon Soul: Maelstrom is a pure parkour map, consisting mostly of 3+1/4 block jumps that can be completed in succession with momentum. The map features little in the way of technical jumps, instead prioritising a smooth and fast gameplay experience. <br /> <br /> The central area of the map requires the player to complete three distinct sections which open the final area, with one of these areas featuring timed parkour.<br /> <br /> === Aesthetics ===<br /> Built entirely in The End, the map mostly features terrain built of blackstone and obsidian, with chasms and floating rings made of glass and glowstone which provide colour.
