=== Aesthetics ===
The map is built to resemble one of the most reoccuring themes in the Sonic series: Green Hill Zone. Most of the course is made of platforms with checkered dirt bases and grass floors with various trees and plants growing on top of them. One section in the middle goes through a volcano.

At the beginning, players can optionally choose to be one of eight Sonic characters while running through the map (which just gives the player head): Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Dr. Robotnik, Amy, Metal Sonic, Shadow, and Super Sonic. Super Sonic, however, requires the player to beat the map at least once before being unlocked in future playthroughts.
