Some maps are part of a series of maps, though most do not require completion in series.

In the first map, the player completes parkour on the outside islands and the attacking pirate ship, and in the second map, the player climbs their way to the top of the city (to save it!).

The Geometry Dash Series is a collection of several maps that resemble levels in Geometry Dash. *Map Series that are formatted with one hub map have special rules when nominating them for [[FFA+]]. If a hub is open to [[maps]] in the future, individual maps must be nominated. If it is a hub that will not receive future maps, the hub itself can be nominated and apply to all sub-maps inside of it.
