General
Gameplay
The parkour is made up of a group of buildings, each of which you must jump through and between in order to reach the top of the map where the end is located. Many of the jumps in the maps are ladder jumps and neos, and five checkpoints are spread out through the map.
Aesthetics
Fallen City is a post-apocalyptic city map, and it utilizes a palette made primarily out of stone variants and gray concrete powders on the buildings. For the ground, granite and dirt variants are added, and in muddy areas, the stone is exchanged with wood and brown concrete. At the top of the map is a helicopter, in which the end is located inside of.
Story
Fallen City is set in a post-apocalyptic world, and while the map is not focused on story, several elements are spread out throughout the world telling little bits of story about the world.
Challenges
This map is featured in two challenges: Hexa and Friend for the End.
*MarvelFamily's first published map
*Fallen City was originally in FFA as a black rated map but was removed and re-worked a few months later due to its unbalanced jumps.
General
Gameplay
This map is frozen ice parkour filled romp through a frozen valley. The first section is a frozen maze, finding your path out of the starting cave. The second area is the open area, a place you will be coming back to quite a bit, filled with snow and frozen path jumping using the physics of ice. Using momentum, you make your way into the second ice cave section, doing head head hitters and wrap around from ice to make your way to CP1. In CP1, you ascend the icy ravine doing tricky snow jumps and a pane jump that is very precise. After leaving the first ravine, there are a few tricky head hitters, leading back into the open area. After zigzagging in and out of the open area and ravine, you make your way to the final parkour ascension to the small search at the very end!

Aesthetics
This is the quintessential frozen map, with the beautiful snow falling down as you go through the map. You start in an ice maze, with different ice and snow blocks used to create a nice texture for the cave. Once you exit the maze, you enter to the snowfield, with the spruce trees lining the top of the valley. Different blocks of snow and ice are used to create this area. Snow and Ice are the only blocks used throughout the entire map besides two light blue glass panes and vines in the ravine section.

Challenges
This map is featured in three challenges: 2019 Assortment, Rivers Run Red, Hexa.

Trivia
*There are multiple secret areas in the map!
*There is actually a secret harder path after CP1 that is quicker, but much harder.
The Control Room is an adventure map by Chromonik. It rewards 1 FFA Point upon completion, and can be joined directly using “/c join ctr”.

General
Story
The Control Room has the player become a colonel on the Chrome Space Station. Upon entering the Black Box, the player is instructed to complete three tasks in order to enter the control room. Complete these three tasks to gain access to the control room.

Gameplay
The player begins inside a crew's quarters where they are instructed to enter the Black Box. The Black Box tells the player to go into the control room to play some zero.minr.org. In order to get into the control room, the player must complete three tasks to get a 3-digit code to enter the control room. These tasks can be completed in any order. The first task is a parkour challenge, named the Incinerator, where the player must parkour over lava inside an incinerator. The player must be careful not to fall into lava while jumping on anvils and iron bars. The second task has the player solve a short riddle, named the PurPur room. A hint is available for players should they need it. The third task has the player solve a short 2D maze, named the Garden. The maze walls are made from leaves, giving a slight see-through capability. Upon completion of these tasks, the player can enter the code they get and enter the control room, which holds the end sign.

Aesthetics
The Control Room uses a space station theme to create most of its aesthetics. Quartz and iron make up a bulk of the interior and exterior of the map. Black concrete behind black stained glass creates the void of space around the map. Glowstone is used to represent stars. The map is primarily lighted using the glowstone stars and redstone lamps behind trapdoors. Iron doors on iron blocks create lockers. The incinerator uses stone bricks, iron/quartz, and iron bars to create its room. Smooth stone and polished andesite create the actual incinerator. The PurPur room uses purpur variants to create its room aesthetics. The garden uses path blocks to make its paths and leaves to make the walls. Wheat, flowers, and other plant items can be found along the ground.

Challenges
This map is featured in three challenges: A Journey Awaits, White Waders, and Hexa.

Trivia
*The Control Room was the first Very Easy (white) adventure map to be published.
*The map was originally going to be named Blackbox. It was changed to The Control Room after the creator learned that the name Blackbox was already taken.

General
Gameplay
Over the Rainbow has the player enter a cloud to begin the parkour. The map consists of mostly standard parkour jumps with a few long drops into the water as well. Harder jumps are failsafed on the rainbow, but most jumps will likely cause a player to fall off the rainbow causing a restart. As the rainbow crumbles, the player ends the map in a large pot of gold.

Aesthetics
Over the Rainbow is built into a vanilla Minecraft setting. A small village was created underneath a large rainbow. The village consists of houses made from brick, cobblestone, and oak wood. A pond, a bridge, custom flowers, and a well are other prominent features. The rainbow consists of coloured wool and glass. The rainbow ends in a pot of gold made from coal blocks and gold blocks. Clouds are also dotted around the sky within the map.

General
Gameplay
Mystic Cavern has the player parkouring along with large crystals and stone groupings as the player ascends the cavern. Standard parkour jumps are plentiful, but a few jumps require the player to watch their head. There are 2 mid-checkpoints in this map, each located evenly through the map. The end of the map has the player jump down to the purple crystal containing the end sign.

Aesthetics
Mystic Cavern starts on a forest path with dark oak and spruce trees with jungle spruce leaves that create a wall. The forest path uses path blocks, coarse dirt, and podzol and is accented with mushrooms and ferns. The cave opening has a river decorated with coral and seagrass. The large mountain has leaves stretching down its side. Inside the cave, pink and stone textures combine to create a mystical aura. Purpur, glazed terracotta, glass panes, wool, and end rods all work to accent the room. Purple textures are used to create the ending crystal.
Hangar is a pure parkour map by Big_Big_So_Big. It rewards 1 FFA Point upon completion, and can be joined directly using “/c join air”.

General
Story
After landing your plane, you must open the hangar. However, the task won't be so easy...

Gameplay
This map contains four separate sections. The first requires parkouring on platforms around the plane to get inside the hangar. Once inside the hangar, the player must maneuver their way around support beams to reach the employee break room. This break room contains more parkour, including a slime block jump. Finally, the player reaches the vertical hallway, in which they must complete a few jumps to reach the button which opens the hangar.

Once the hangar is open, the player is required to run back to the plane they began in to finish the map.

Aesthetics
The starting section is designed to look like a grassy area with player heads shaped like pigeons roaming freely. The landscape is made out of leaves and lime terracotta, while the runway is made out of a mix of black concrete and blocks of coal. The hangar is made out of stone blocks, with end rods being used for lighting. The break room has a red/white palette, with red nether bricks and quarts variants used for decoration, as well as a floor of lava covered by glass.

Challenges
This map is featured in three challenges: Beginner Parkour Pack, White Waders, and Hexa.

Trivia
*After the player presses the button to open the hangar, they are secretly teleported to a copy of the map, in which not only is the hangar open, but there are a few subtle differences. One example is the placement of pigeons.
*Though tricky, it is entirely possible to backtrack around the map after opening the hangar to get on top of the plane. If done so, the player is treated with a secret sign.
Heavenly Ascent primarily contains standard parkour jumps. This map is unique that it contains many speedrun jumps, such as 3+1's and 4-block jumps, to cut down on speedrun time. This map contains two mid-checkpoints, placed evenly through this short map.

Aesthetics
Heavenly Ascent primarily uses quartz-based blocks to create floating platforms high above the sky. These platforms are designed with quartz stairs and slabs to create arches and other designs.
General
Gameplay
Walk in the Park consists of mostly standard parkour jumps. The map requires the player to manoeuvre through many locations inside the park. The first section has the player parkour around an oak tree and bushes. The next playground section consists of a very short parkour section where the player jumps and balances themselves on stairs and fences. The player then must swim underneath a small pond to get into a building. The building has the player parkour around the upper window sills. The player then parkours through a water fountain and a stone arch. These cobble structures have stairs making landing awkward. The player then does one final jump into a picnic area where they are met with the end sign.

Aesthetics
Walk in the Park is built into a vanilla Minecraft setting. The park is surrounded by stone brick walls with iron rods. The first section uses grass piles and oak trees to facilitate parkour. Path blocks create a path and flowers and grass flank either side. The playground section is created using sand, sandstone, and birch wood to create a sandpit. On this sandpit are a playset, monkey bars, and a swing made from dark prismarine, acacia, birch, spruce, and stone. The building is built using birch and dark oak wood. The final section has the player jump across cobblestone structures representing a fountain and an arch. The final part has a small oak wood picnic table.

General
Gameplay
Space Jump uses jump boost II for its parkour. Most jumps are fairly standard, however, with jump boost, the jumps become slightly more difficult. Long jumps, jumps to ladders, and headhitters make up the most advanced jumps of the map.

Aesthetics
Space Jump takes place in the End dimension inside a futuristic-looking facility. CreepaShadowz took inspiration from Project Sierra while creating the map. The map primarily uses grey blocks such as concrete powder, stone, and iron blocks to create the facility. Yellow and grey wool is used to create hazard markings. Redstone lamps are used to light the map. The map ends on an End island fenced in with iron bars.

Aesthetics
The map takes place between the cherry blossom tree-topped peaks of a natural mountain. The start of the map contains a structure surrounded by pools of water and foliage, while the mountain peaks themselves are accentuated by trails of leaves, vibrant flowers, and redstone lamps. The area also contains a hot air balloon leading into banner-ringed platforms.

Aesthetics
Factory uses a grey palette of stone variants to make up the foundation of the map. Iron-based blocks and custom player head combine to create conveyor belts and machines. There is also a small section containing large wooden boxes. At the end of the map, fire is represented by combining red, orange, and yellow stained glass. == General ==
Gameplay
The Snowman consists of mostly standard parkour jumps. The player parkours inside and outside of the large snowmen. Inside these snowmen, piles of snow facilitate parkour. These can be a little trickier as piles of snow change the actual height of the block. These jumps are found in the beginning broken snowman and in the ending snowman. The most difficult jumps of the map are jumps on player heads, located in a large field in a pick-your-path style challenge, on top of small snowmen and jumps that make you watch your headspace, located in the broken snowman and the ending snowman.

Aesthetics
The Snowman uses ice variants, snow, and white concrete powder to create the natural walls around the map. A small snowman, made from levers, buttons, snow, and custom player heads, are dotted around the ground of the map. The large snowmen are made from snow, grey concrete, white concrete, coal blocks, and white concrete powder. Large oak structures resembling snowmen arms can also be found. Many satirical signs can be found throughout the map.

Aesthetics
This map is located in The End, so it uses End-themed blocks. The rooms are made of purpur and end stone bricks, while some rooms also contain ore blocks. Each room contains magenta windows as well. The maze is made out of gold blocks, end rods, and end stone brick walls.
This map is featured in four challenges: 2019 Assortment, Beginner Puzzle Pack, White Waders, and Hexa.
Trivia
*When this map was first made, there were several ender pearl bugs that made the map highly unstable. This forced the map to be released weeks after it was approved for FFA.
*The Eye was the second white puzzle map ever released to FFA. The first one was Isle of Redstone.
*The Eye bears a resemblance to another map on Minr, Pearl. Both maps require the player to throw maps from room to room. Pearl, however, is a maze map.
*Due to the nature of ender pearls, if a player with build perms within the map's region throws a pearl at one of the item frames, the item will pop out. Due to this issue affecting not only the creator but all admins as well, the item frames were replaced with player heads.
Sewer is a mixed parkour map with guess map by Autre. It rewards 1 FFA Point upon completion, and can be joined directly using “/c join swr”.

General
Story
The simple story of Sewer has the player finish their workday to discover that the ladder to the surface has been broken. The player then goes through the sewer, avoiding crocodiles along the way, to get back to the surface.

Gameplay
Sewer is a simple parkour map with mostly standard parkour jumps. Some jumps are made easier by adding vines to help the player climb up. At one part of the map, the player can choose to either risk a difficult iron bar jump or manoeuvre through vines to cross a gap. The player is then met with the guess portion of the map where the player must choose to drop down a tunnel. These tunnels are named for the four cardinal directions so the player can keep track of the ones they have already attempted. Three of the four tunnels are incorrect and have crocodiles at the bottom. If the player chooses incorrectly, they must travel through a smaller tunnel to attempt the guess again. Once the player guesses correctly, they continue through another few parkour sections before returning to the upper floor of the starting section where the player will be met with the end sign.

Aesthetics
Sewer mainly uses a stone brick palette, mixing in both regular, cracked, and mossy stone bricks to create the sewer tunnels. Iron bars also jut out from the sides. Vines and leaves are also used to show the overgrown nature of the sewer. There are also NPC workers scattered around the tunnel. Many of these workers have tools and lanterns. These lanterns were used as a primary source of light for the map.
Piece of Cake is a pure parkour map by Sulldas. It rewards 1 FFA Point upon completion, and can be joined directly using “/c join cake”.

General
Gameplay
Piece of Cake has the player parkour across small red piles with cake on them. These are mostly standard parkour jumps but the cake makes the dimensions slightly smaller, adding difficulty. Player heads are also placed on these piles, making manoeuvring on them much more difficult. Sections of trapdoors has the player watching their headspace as they make their way to the cupcake room. The cupcake room has the player parkouring on player heads up and out of the room. A final parkour segment over player heads leads to a short bridge where the player is met with the end sign inside of a cosy room filled with cake.

Aesthetics
Piece of Cake uses white terracotta, light grey terracotta, and white concrete to create a cake that the map takes place in. Brown terracotta and brown stained glass create a chocolate river that covers most of the ground of the map. A large rainbow and clouds cover the sky. A large candy apple sits in the centre of a chocolate cave made from red concrete powder and brown terracotta. Jungle and acacia wood create small platforms and also hold glowstone for light sources. A cupcake was constructed using pink concrete, white terracotta, and brown terracotta. Custom player heads are used throughout the map, representing items such as cupcakes and candy apples.

A challenge is a set of maps that usually must be completed under special conditions. The player is awarded Challenge Points upon completion or progress through a challenge. Common special conditions include Limited Lives and No Checkpoints.

Commands
Main Article: Challenge Command List<br><br>
Challenges can be joined, quit and interacted with using /challenge (/ch).<br>
There are currently 30 Standard Challenges, 51 Challenge Packs, and an additional 4 Special Challenges.

Modifiers
Modifiers are special conditions or restrictions placed on certain challenges. Modifiers tend to increase the difficulty of a challenge, and as such often increase the C-Points reward offered for completing the challenge. Current modifiers include:
*No Checkpoints: The player is unable to set checkpoints between maps.
*No Sprint: The player isn't able to access the sprint function.
*Limited Lives: The player has a certain stock of lives to complete the challenge with. Running out of lives fails the challenge.
*Soul Link: The player and a partner have a “soul link” using /marry and must click both checkpoints and end signs together to finish. If the player dies, the partner dies as well, and vice versa.
Special Challenges
Special Challenges feature unique mechanics, sometimes with specific entry criteria. These generally contain a large number of maps, and can be very difficult.

Daily Challenge
The Daily Challenge (also referred to as the daily) is a challenge that contains a randomly generated list of two to five maps. The maps can be of any difficulty, and the sum of their point rewards is the reward for beating that daily in C-Points. The daily changes at 00:00 Eastern Time.

Maps that appear in the daily can not appear in the next six dailies.

Weekly Challenge
The Weekly Challenge (also referred to as the weekly) is a challenge that contains a randomly generated list of eight to fifteen maps. The maps can be of any difficulty. Upon completion of the challenge, the player will receive C-Points equal to the sum of the map's points, and at the end of the week will receive bonus points from console based on performance in the previous weekly. The player who completed the previous weekly the fastest will gain access to The Path of Heroes challenge the following week.

Like the Daily Challenge, maps that appear in the weekly can not appear in the next six weeklies.

Hexa Challenge
Originally added with the 6th anniversary update, the Hexa Challenge (also referred to as hexa) was the first special challenge added to Minr. The challenge contains every accessible map on the server, sorted by point rewards then alphabetically. A list of all the maps in the Hexa Challenge can be found here. The player must complete every map without dying more than 66 times. For this reason, the Hexa Challenge is viewed as nearly impossible, especially when certain maps (like Departure) force the player to die in order to make progress. The challenge awards 6666 C-Points.

The Path of Heroes
The Path of Heroes is a very difficult challenge added along with the Weekly Challenge in the 7th Anniversary update. It consists of 155 hand-picked maps and was designed to be difficult, but not impossible (unlike the Hexa Challenge). Upon completion, players are awarded 500 C-Points and the blue title 'Hero'. Not many details are known about the challenge, as players who enter the challenge are encouraged to keep it a secret. The Path of Heroes is one of the two challenges (along with Odyssey) with entry requirements. In order to enter, the player must have completed the previous Weekly Challenge the fastest. They have until the end of the week to join the challenge, however, players are not kicked from the challenge should they not complete it within a week of them gaining access to the challenge.

Odyssey
Sometimes called Minr Odyssey, Odyssey is a difficult challenge added on July 31st, 2020 that requires 1000 FFA points to join. It was designed to be a sort of Green Hardcore, with being challenging but doable. It is split into 8 zones and 2 boss levels, with each zone containing 4 maps that the player must beat in a row without dying as there are no checkpoints. Death resets progress in a zone, and losing every life means restarting the challenge. The player can gain lives, however, by either clearing zones or doing well in mini-games.

Odyssey is novel for challenges in several ways: it is the first challenge to have an entry requirement tied to FFA Points, it is the first challenge to feature custom maps specifically made for it (Odyssey: Start, Odyssey: Miniboss, and Odyssey: Last Boss), and it has mini-games the player can participate in once per hub to gain extra lives. The challenge was created by Chayos, Pieceofcheese, and Rickyboy320.

Trivia
* rebplane is currently the only person ever to have completed the Hexa challenge. She won a special title reward for this, reading "Hexagonal" above her head in orange letters, the rarest possible color.
* The first ever Daily Challenge included an uncompleted map called The Labs (by Zatharel and minty1111) due to a bug. The map has since been abandoned.
* The first weekly only lasted for 24 hours, since the update was launched with only 24 hours remaining.
* The Path of Heroes was impossible for non-ops, since a region excluding all players was added and forgotten about until discovered by TheHexer.
* Recently published maps are only included in the Hexa Challenge when the server restarts.
* Before the 7th anniversary update, typing .ch info hexa or .ch info heroic into the Minr Discord would cause the Minrbot to list all 100+ maps in the challenges. This would almost render the bot inoperable, as Discord limits the rate at which bots can send messages. The addition of pages to challenge information resolved the issue.
* The Hexa Challenge briefly had an entry requirement of 7,000 C-Points, when an exploit that skipped over 150 stages was discovered in Carnivale.

Journey is a pure parkour map by Chromonik. It rewards 1 FFA Point upon completion, and can be joined directly using “/c join jou”.

General
Story
Journey follows the player progressing through a standard Minecraft playthrough. Starting in a forest with a house, then a cave for mining, the nether, the stronghold, and finally the end dimension.

Gameplay
The forest area consists of primarily standard jumps. The most difficult jumps include a slab headhitter jump and a few jumps around blocks. This parkour takes place in the oak trees using spruce slabs. The player then drops down the middle of the tree into the cave section. This section has the player parkouring across spruce platforms hanging from the ceiling. At the end of the cave, the player enters a nether portal into the nether dimension. The mid-checkpoint is located at the beginning of the nether section. Parkour in this section remains standard as the player jumps along nether brick platforms inside and outside of the nether fortress. Lava covers the floor of this section, spelling death for those that fall. At the end of the stronghold, the player is met with a library inside the stronghold. The player then parkours on spruce platforms around the library to the end portal. The end dimension has the player parkour on purpur towers up to the ending drop of the map. The player is teleported to the beginning house an is met with the end sign.

Aesthetics
The starting forest area includes a house made of quartz and oak wood. A farm and brick chimney can be found on one side of the house and a well can be found in a corner. The oak trees are decorated with spruce slabs. In the sky, clouds and birds can be seen. Flowers dot the valley in this opening area. The cave section includes many stone variants to create the cave. A large water pool dotted with seagrass and coral cover the ground. Lanterns are used to light this section and ore veins of various ores can be found along the walls. The player enters the nether dimension through a nether portal, represented by obsidian and purple stained glass panes. The nether is made using standard nether based blocks such as netherrack, glowstone, magma, and soul sand. Lava covers the floor. A large nether fortress hallway is the centrepiece of this section made up of nether brick variants. The player goes through a nether portal, similar to the one at the end of the cave section, and is met with a library inside a stronghold made of stone brick variants. Long bookshelf walls split the middle of this section. Cobwebs, lanterns, torches, and iron bars accent the room. The end portal is constructed using end portal frames. The drop into the end dimension uses endstone and black concrete to simulate teleportation. The end dimension consists of endstone and spruce wood flooring and large obsidian towers. A black concrete dome with purple stained glass panes simulates the end dimension. Enderman and the End Dragon were constructed using dark wool variants. The player then drops through a purple stained glass column to teleport to the end of the map, the house from the beginning.
Challenges
This map is featured in 1 challenges: Hexa
*When Journey was first published, a Reward Proposal to change the map to Easy difficulty immediately followed. This caused the creator, Chromonik, to pull the map from FFA to nerf the map to Very Easy difficulty.
General
Gameplay
The player spends much of the map parkouring over a large lava pool, meaning one mistake will likely spell death. Inferno mostly contains standard parkour jumps albeit slightly more advanced jumps than other very easy maps. These include jumps from stair blocks and a jump from a ladder. One mid-checkpoint is located within the map, located on the last nether brick floating platform.

Aesthetics
Inferno takes place over a large lava pool in the nether, beginning inside a blackstone platform. The player encounters groupings of netherrack and crimson nylium sticking from the lava. Nether brick and red nether brick platforms are made with crying obsidian, magma, and banners as key accented features. A large blackstone skull with lava leaking from its quartz teeth can be seen from most of the map. Unique flying creatures were constructed using quartz and blackstone. Long smoke clouds with a lava center reside in the upper section of the map. The player ends in a floating platform constructed from blackstone, crying obsidian, and crimson variants.
Story
Dave is stuck in a pit in a cave and it's your job to venture to the police station and get him some help!

Gameplay
This is a very tricky map predicated on the ideas of slimes and saving health. Due to the fact that it is a no saturation map, preserving hunger and precise bounces off of slimes are necessary. Not just that, but there are the indoor sections in the caves with tricky vine grabbing, and even some jumping around cars!

Aesthetics
This map takes an naturalistic approach to its aesthetic design. It uses many blocks for its leaves, like stained glass and even green wool! After the first section, fire is introduced to add extra layers of intensity to the map, as you get "A Sinking Feeling"! Later on in the map there are cars made out of concrete and wool, with other city esc objects, pieces of roads, sidewalks and water in spots with the final area being beneath the police station, really nicely tying up the map. As well as the block aesthetics, there are also people all around, who give dialogue and add to the realistic nature of the map.
Trivia
*[The Most interesting thing about this map is that it was heavily contested difficulty wise for the longest time, always toeing the line between orange and red. Finally in late 2020, Sulldas took the map out to make aesthetic changes, as well as removing saturation, finally pushing the map over the edge, making it red!]
Gameplay
This map features wide open library spaces, filled with classic block and ladder parkour! From the mysterious entrance, you see a library, and from there the parkour begins. You go through the first room to wide open and branching paths of the second part of the library. From there you parkour around tunnels, doing 3+1s and four blocks aplenty to get to the studies, each with one puzzle, totalling two in all. After the puzzles, there are another few sections in the second section of the library, leading to the final ascent of the big tower room of the library. In this room you ascend around and in a tower around a section that is burning down, making sure to avoid fire, until you get to the final section. From there, you traverse a lava filled cave tunnel to the miner camp, where you can relax after your escape and get the end sign!

Aesthetics
Starting Average's trend of making exceptionally detailed maps, this map features expansive library spaces. Starting with the opening area, we see a cave in, and have to venture into the mysterious library buried in the caves. Books, crafting tables, lecterns, and chairs adorn the halls of the first room, with the main pallet being that of a oak one. Then in the second section, we get a darker more cozy dark oak based area, complete with seats and a cozy hearth to sit by. The walls and floors here are also expertly detailed. Then we get to the puzzle rooms, big expansive rooms filled with books, and an sea lantern for input! Finally traversing through the rest of the dark oak, the player reaches the birch book tower! In this room, it is much of the same, books and expert adorning, but there are cauldrons filled with water all around, and fire too, burning down the tower. Finally in the last section, you traverse a lava filled tunnel, with ores on the walls, and lava covering the floor to get to the end and the camp and stairs out that await!
Dry Desert Trials is a mixed parkour map by Shpeckly. It rewards 18 FFA Points upon completion, and can be joined directly using “/c join ddt”.

General
Gameplay
This map is split into three distinct sections, the first being pure parkour. In this section, you jump on walls, and sand, doing multiple long jumps as well as 3+1s and 4 block jumps. The next section is a maze where you cannot jump! This comes into play as there are two layers, the first being a normal maze, and the second being a maze of traversing without jumping. The final and most infamous section is the no sprint section. This section is comprised with wooden slabs on fences of increasingly difficult and tight jumps. Starting with one block and two block jumps, they get increasingly more complex with the changing of the wood types, culminating in the final few dark oak jumps that are un-fail safed, as most of the section is, to the ladder down to the end sign!

Aesthetics
This map features a Dry Dry theme, with all kinds of sand and red sand used. The first section uses sand walls, as well as blocks of sand, sandstone and red sand/sandstone making up the whole area. There are pillars of sand jutting out from the group making up the parkour route. The second section is a maze of red sand related things. Walls, slabs and blocks, if it is a kind of red sand, it is used. This leads up to the top of the maze where you can look down to the yellow sand ground. The walls of all the sections are sandy cliff faces and that leads to the final section, being the no sprint section! This sandy fortress is made up of sand blocks and other such slabs. Around it are the parkour slabs of wood, going in the order of jungle, acacia, birch, and finally dark oak. The end room is that of a sandy tomb, a box of a beautiful pattern of red sand with a sandy border, with the end sign in the middle!

General
Gameplay
Mean Messages places the player inside the Trusty Testing Facility. The player is then met with many satirical puzzles made to trick the player into choosing certain answers. Signs throughout the map are used to confuse and trick the player as they play. The map includes a few puzzles presented in a linear style including riddles and multiple-pathway type puzzles.

Aesthetics
Mean Messages uses a very unique design to create its rooms. It combines several blocks that wouldn't normally work together. These include diorite, sponge, pumpkin, acacia, and purpur all combining to create the aesthetics of the map. End rods are used as the primary source of light for the map.

General

General
Gameplay
Heavenly Ascent primarily contains standard parkour jumps. This map is unique that it contains many speedrun jumps, such as 3+1's and 4-block jumps, to cut down on speedrun time. This map contains two mid-checkpoints, placed evenly through this short map.

Aesthetics
Heavenly Ascent primarily uses quartz based blocks to create floating platforms high above the sky. These platforms are designed with quartz stairs and slabs to create arches and other designs. Space Mission is a pure parkour map by eagg2112. It rewards 7 FFA Points upon completion, and can be joined directly using “/c join spcm”.

General
Story
You must pass training to qualify for going out into space. Once you have the qualifications, you are sent out to identify a mysterious large, floating object.

Gameplay
Space Mission begins in a space ship, and immediately transitions to a parkour hallway (supposedly a simulation) where the player must jump over lava with only a 3-block high ceiling. This section is immediately followed by ascending jump boost parkour where death via fall damage is a real threat. When the map was first published, the top of this section didn't contain jump boost but, possibly due to beacon updates, the jump boost is retained even a little bit into the final section. The final and largest section sends the player into "space" where they are required to jump across floating blocks and planets to reach the end.

Aesthetics
The spaceship and jump boost parkour are made of iron blocks(?). The simulation hallway is nether-themed, being made solely out of nether brick and lava. Space is surrounded by black wool to make it seem like the real thing, with the parkour platforms being glowstone "stars."

Challenges
This map is featured in four challenges: Deep Space Dive, 2012 Assortment, The Path of Heroes, and Hexa.

Trivia
*Space Mission is considered the lower yellow difficulty boundary map, meaning it is seen as the easiest 7-point map.
Prismarine Green is a mixed parkour map by pieceofcheese. It would reward 12 FFA Points upon completion, but it’s currently being used in Hardcore 10.2, so it can’t be accessed directly, nor does it give points.

General
Gameplay
Prismarine Green links many different parkour segments up. Most of the rooms focus on slime block parkour, where the player must either bounce off slime blocks to reach platforms not normally accessible, or jump from a slime block to a normal platform, which requires strategy. One room contains a long segment of "water parkour" where the player must cross floating blocks of water by jumping out at precise times.

The final jump of the map is one of the most difficult. The player is required to jump out far and bounce on a floor of slime blocks, in which they are given a small segment of time to hit the end sign before falling onto the floor and having to try the jump again.

Aesthetics
Prismarine Green is made up of mostly Prismarine variants, as it takes place inside a makeshift ocean monument. Iron Bars and slime blocks are thrown in for gameplay reasons, with the latter likely used to add to the aesthetics as well.

Challenges
This map is currently being used in Hardcore 10.1, so it isn't featured in any challenges.

Trivia
*The only pure puzzle in the map is located outside of the monument, visible to the player at the beginning of the map (though one may not know its a puzzle from the start). This is the only section (besides the first jump of the map) that this is true for.
*The puzzle section was not intended to be interpreted as a puzzle by the creator. Its purpose was simply to be an interesting transition between rooms, giving a short view of the outside before going back into the green rooms underground.
Wolly Mammoth is a pure maze map by Kaddekes. It would reward 12 FFA Points upon completion, but it’s currently being used in Hardcore 10.2, so it can’t be accessed directly, nor does it give points.

General
Gameplay
Wolly Mammoth is an enormous maze consisting of hallways made almost entirely of wool, most of which are narrow 2x1 corridors, with occasional mini-mazes that aren't part of the larger design. The map begins in a large room containing a Woolly Mammoth, where the player must find the entrance to the maze.

There are many branches of hallways that lead all over the place. players will often find themselves lost in these sprawling paths, except for a few key spots in the map that players will end up back at many times Some of these include a red wool room with a soul sand floor, with more than 16 different paths to choose from (as seen in the thumbnail); or a special room simulating an outside environment, with a grass floor and an oak tree.

There are signs scattered all around the map, usually in dead ends, that often say nothing but meaningless remarks. They can make the maze feel a bit less tedious, but could also annoy the player.

A few areas contain short parkour segments, giving it its pure maze status. The most notable area is a large glass room, which has a bit of parkour in the center chamber.

Aesthetics
As the name suggests, this maze is made almost entirely out of various colors of wool. Most of the hallways are brightly lit, but the map can have somewhat of a claustrophobic atmosphere with its narrow corridors.
Challenges
This map is currently being used in Hardcore 10.1, so it isn't featured in any challenges.

Trivia
*Wolly Mammoth’s name contains a typo. It should be spelled “Woolly Mammoth.”
**This fact also applies to Wooly Creeper, though one l is missing from the name instead of one o.
*This map is set in an area of Zero unofficially known as the "Kaddekes Playground", which contains many of Kaddekes' maps, including Sssnake, Chaos, Demon, Troll Kingdom, and Satyrs, many of which can be seen at certain points in Wolly Mammoth.
*Wolly Mammoth was featured in Hardcore 3.0 as one of the choices for the fourth map and later the third map, 4.0–4.1 as the fifth map overall and the second map in the Bright path, 5.0 as the 7th map overall and the 4th map in the Nostalgia path, 8.0-8.1 as the tenth map, 9.0 as the second map in the Wandering path, and 10.0 as the first map in the Tenacity path, as of 10.1 Wolly Mammoth is featured as the second map in the Tenacity path after being switched by Vil Bo in an effort to balance the paths out.
General
Gameplay
The gameplay in Hel is very fluent, Hel is full of life or death jumps, with the map being directly above the void, if the player falls jumping from platform to platform, they will fall to their inevitable death. After the parkour element of the map, the player has to complete a puzzle that involves stepping on the correct pressure plate to progress. In the final room, the player has to search for the correct way to go to finish the map.

Aesthetics
Hel is set in a very large and open cave, with a floating island in the middle with a small nether brick castle and a floating purple crystal above it. Most of the platforms around the map are made out of obsidian & coal blocks with purple glass in the middle with a lantern beneath it to create a dim-lit hellish atmosphere. A few of the other islands have broken down bits of the netherrack castle and are made out of slabs, fences, and stairs. In the final room, the player is put into a room that is very contrasting to the block palette of the main room, with very bright wool colours with a much more colourful palette being used.

Challenges
This map is featured in five challenges: 2015 Assortment, Great Barrier, Linked Souls, TULIP, and Hexa.
Trivia
*Hel was the first map Zatharel made as a mod, the map was built without using the fly command, meaning there were glass platforms all over the map every 4 blocks.
*The colours in hel are based on Hel from SMITE's dark room.

General
Gameplay
This maze's design is exactly like that of The Minotaur's Labyrinth by Bureine and Tetration—a simple 2D maze with wide corridors—but with several key differences. One is that instead of starting in a room connected to the outer-most wall of the maze, here players begin in the very center of the maze and make their way outwards. The other key difference is that players must find a code before they can access the exit, which is set right at the start, as shown in the thumbnail. This code is scattered in pieces which must be found all throughout the maze, thus adding a search element to it.

The look of this map is also exactly the same as The Minotaur's Labyrinth, but with various kinds of flowers added to all of the paths.

General
Gameplay
The map starts with a very long endurance section in which the player must parkour across lamps in a long, twisted hallway. It then throws the player into a dark, urban setting in which the player must complete a long series of jumps, with a small maze in the middle. Skipping jumps isn't possible due to barriers preventing so. Finally, the player must find their way around a maze / parkour fusion to various emerald platforms until they reach the end.

The map revolves around the gimmick of redstone lamps. Every redstone lamp platform has a pressure plate on top of it, lighting the lamp, and therefore the surroundings, when stood on. This may cause a bit of lag on slower computers.

Aesthetics
The beginning section uses many iron bars in a room made out of various types of stone. The platforms are redstone lamps atop nether brick(?) fences. The urban area consists of floating redstone lamp platforms leading around buildings made out of varying materials. Glowstone surrounded by glass is present here as well, adding a bit of light to the map. The final section is much less detailed, consisting of large coal-block room containing floating redstone lamps and the occasional lapis / emerald platform.

Challenges
This map is featured in five challenges: Cheesefest, Odyssey, 2016 Assortment, The Path of Heroes, and Hexa.
4 Corners Dojo is a mixed parkour by Ajdj123321. It would reward 12 FFA Points upon completion, but it’s currently being used in Hardcore 10.2, so it can’t be accessed directly, nor does it give points.

General
Gameplay
The map is divided up into 4 different corners, each of which has varying mechanics. The first corner focuses on simple parkour, and all of the jumps can be done without sprinting. The second corner is much more difficult and has tight jumps on and around fences. There is also fire and lava present, so there is a very real threat of death present. The third corner consists of a door maze with 5 levels, with wrong doors leading to a drop into a small, traditional maze. The final corner is a difficult riddle set in a graveyard which kills the player if they answer wrong.

Aesthetics
Each corner of the map has a different aesthetic. The first corner of the dojo is made of wooden fences and blocks and features grassy plains on the outside. The second corner contains nether brick fences and blocks and has an infernal landscape surrounding it. The third corner is built from sandstone and is surrounded by an arid desert. The final corner is built out of stone bricks but is inaccessible until after solving the riddle. The outside is made to resemble a graveyard, with dozens of headstones jutting up from the ground.

Origin
Original article written by Ajdj123321

4 Corners was originally going to focus on four separate city-esque sections, and you would perform something for each one of them. After allocating space and laying out basic outlines I realized that there was not enough space to do what I wanted. I instead re-shifted the focus to being four trials. In May of 2012, 4 Corners was published and featured 2 segments of parkour and 2 maze sections.

However, as time passed, standards rose. FFA+ was launched and the server had begun to shift towards higher quality. I then realized that there wasn't too much that separated it from the normal courses. The course was closed for 6 weeks as the parkour segments were reconstructed, and the second maze turned into a riddle. The course re-opened in October 2013. Shortly after it was nominated and accepted into FFA+. The parkour segments that were formerly floating blocks were replaced with twisting and shifting platforms, forcing players to actively look for where the next jump is.

In hindsight, a lot of the trials in 4 Corners were inspired by the original HC. Both are structured as many trials strung together, and both require a mastery of parkour and mental sharpness. The mastery comes from the difficulty of the first two corners where jumps aren't always seen and must be searched for. The mental ability comes from the complex door maze and challenging riddle.

This map is currently being used in Hardcore 10.1, so it isn't featured in any challenges.

This page goes over the most basic commands and tips for new players to understand and have fun on the server. In order to achieve this, basic knowledge of the information below must be known.

Getting Started
When a player joins for the very first time, they are placed into the FAQ room. Signs going over general information about the server are placed in areas easily readable to the player. At this point, the player has two options: start playing maps or take the FAQ quiz. It is highly advised the player take the FAQ quiz at this point, since it not only rewards 7 points upon completion (equivalent to a yellow difficulty map), but it is required to have been completed in order for the player to enter Hardcore. This quiz can be joined at any time with the command /c join faq quiz.

Being a Whitie
When a player first joins, their rank is set to white. This is the most basic rank, and grants the player access to only FFA. FFA contains every map that grants points upon completion, with a few exceptions. The majority of members on the server have this rank. A player can “rank up” to blue by getting 100 points, completing 5 Moderate or above maps, and completing the FAQ quiz.

Entering Hardcore
Once a player gains the blue rank, they gain access to Hardcore. Hardcore is a collection of maps, containing parkour, puzzles, and mazes of yellow through red difficulty, that one must complete in a certain order (with branching paths, as seen here). to earn green rank. The current maps that are in the current iteration of Hardcore, 10.2, are as follows:

4 Corners Dojo

Night Light

Zurdite

The Labyrinth

Hel

Wolly Mammoth

Project Sierra

Prismarine Green

Iron Door

Zarklin Ruins

Necropolis

Viemort

Ghidora Manor

Invictus

The Big Egyptian

The Scorned Lands

Sky Parkour

Elusion: Remastered

The Fire Dragon's Dungeon

Jiga's Claymaze

Once Hardcore has been completed, the player must submit a Green Application on the forums in order to earn the green rank.

Being a Greenie
Green ranked members have a lot more permissions than white and blue ranked members. The main new feature is access to the creative world, Theta. Within this world, greenies are able to create maps to be placed in FFA. Before being put into FFA, however, a map must go through a review process. This is to prevent maps of low quality from entering FFA. Greens also get access to maps on The Board, in The Valley, or maps that are finished and have join signs, but were never submitted and thus are not in FFA.

Doodle Jump Speedruns
General
Overall it is a really short map, so speedrunning Doodle Jump isn't very taking. The key thing to getting a fast time is momentum rocketing.
Tip 1: Momentum Rocketing
Momentum Rocketing is when you activate the rocket commands (the light-gray ones) whilst moving upwards during a jump. It has 1.5x the height of a normal rocket, meaning that you can skip some of the platforms.
ANHUR is a pure parkour map by Zatharel. It rewards 6 FFA Points in total across all three 2-point stages, and can be joined directly using “/c join anh”.

General
Gameplay
ANHUR takes place in a volcanic environment and is named after the Egyptian god of war, . The map does not provide food, but the player is granted permanent saturation within the map.
The majority of the map consists of traditional parkour above the lava. The player must navigate the treacherous environment to reach the crystal in the center. ANHUR consists of three separate and distinct levels. In the first, the player must navigate between and utilize sandstone towers to reach a cavern, which the second level takes place in. In the final level, the player navigates between the obsidian "spikes" to reach the floating symbol.

The map has a distinct volcanic theme, with lava featured prominently both in the ground and in the air. The surroundings and caves feature a dark palette, while the central area is lighter in tone.

Challenges
ANHUR appears in four challenges: 2016 Assortment, Blue Oceans, The A-Team, and Hexa.

History
ANHUR has undergone multiple reworks throughout its existence.

ANHUR (Version 1)
Somewhere during the school year, Zatharel read about a WorldEdit command that generates a "spike", as he calls it. The command consists of a bunch of numbers that he (and the person who did the WorldEdit for him) have forgotten by now. Firstly, he wanted to use this as some sort of rising volcano map, so he got rickyboy320 to use the command in a desert somewhere near Zatharel's general map area.

After dropping the idea of a volcano because the spike was clearly too small for something like that, Zatharel decided to just make the most basic map he could. The original map took no more than 4 days because it only contained some parkour on the spikes and a simple maze, made into 3 individual levels meant to have one set of points. The map was put in for review and the results weren't very good.

ANHUR (Version 2)
For a while, Zatharel had no desire to try again with the map. Then, one day he made a small tower and got a basic idea for a map following the concept and aesthetics of the original ANHUR. skyerzz helped make the general design. Zatharel started to work on a basic parkour set and finished ANHUR about a week after.

This time around, the feedback was quite positive and led to the map being accepted into FFA.

ANHUR: Reborn (Version 3)
The map was not done yet, however. Zatharel has a tendency to rework his maps. ANHUR was reworked into a three-level stage, as it is now. rickyboy320 helped him with the surrounding area, including the lava rings and the top towers on the spikes. Once the aesthetics and parkour were done, he wanted to create a second "level" of the map. The second level should have been a maze, but Zatharel never made it one.

Challenges
This map is featured in four challenges: 2016 Assortment, The A-Team, Blue Oceans, TULIP, and Hexa.

Trivia
* The current version of ANHUR is the map's third iteration. The first was denied entry to the FFA and the second only consisted of the first level that is present in the third iteration, as well as having similar aesthetics to the first iteration.
